We loved La Casa sul Sasso. Comfortable, central location, cosy place with great little balcony. Use of the kitchen was a bonus. Great welcome from the host. Lovely

We absolutely loved our stay at La Casa sul Sasso. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable. I would love to know how to purchase those pillows!! The Italian deli where we ate our breakfast was a delight. The shop owner was so sweet. The location is perfect to many outdoor activities. I highly recommend this establishment .

Excellent apartment and location.

Delighted to be given an apartment rather than room for the night. Very spacious and cool. Excellent location for walking to lake and good free parking a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was delivered early next morning. A good selection of food including fresh pastry/bread, coffee, teas and juice. Our only issue was shortage of cutlery which we reported at check out and the owner was not aware any was missing.

Lovely small town and comfortable stay

Very close to supermarket and lake and train station. The room is clean and quiet but very hot only one small fan. So we took shower 3 times a day. We have served breakfast at downstairs, we also use the kitchen to cook our dinner as well. The check in process is quick. The owner’s husband, Marco, guide us to the place we stay, not the check in place. We took stroll around this small town. It’s very lovely and pleasant to stay here for 2 nights.

Great value for money

Location of check in is 5 minute walk from the train station and super easy to find. Grazia and Marco are both lovely and welcoming. The accommodation is based in a traditional old Italian backstreet building with steep stairs and high ceilings, it is quaint and beautiful. Our room (3rd floor) for a couple was small but adequate, the bed was comfortable and the balcony over looking the mountain a nice touch. The shower is tiny and would not fit a big person in, but nice and powerful. The breakfast was in a shared kitchen downstairs (a room open all hours which was helpful ) and overseen by the loveliest Italian last called Alina. All continental products , the apple cake and boiled eggs were some of best I’ve tasted. One morning it was only us and the other shared very friendly people from various European countries. Overall I would definitely return, it’s great value for money.

We booked this holiday for my wife's 50th birthday and nothing too was too much trouble for the hosts Marco and Grazia. I contacted them before we left to arrange for some flowers and a bottle of Prosecco to be in the room waiting for my wife when we arrived and it was a lovely bouquet and bottle were waiting and lovely note. They booked table us at the local seafood restaurant as we don’t speak any Italian and Grazia gave us a card to take with us so the booking wouldn’t be confused with another. The accommodation is clean, tidy and well maintained and décor is very Italian reflecting the local area. It had a homely feel to it and in the public areas there were photos of what I assume to be hosts travels. The breakfast was of courses continental and was excellent with plenty there. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this family run B&B. Places to eat: Urban Fish is a lovely seafood restaurant the lake side. Bar Pin on the way down to the lake is a Bar/Restaurant Gelateria.

La casa di sasso è una piacevole esperienza.La struttura è pulita ed accogliente,le camere sono spaziose e arredate con gusto.La colazione è un vero momento di convivialità,si mangia tutti insieme in cucina con la signora che si prende cura degli ospiti servendo loro le bevande calde che desiderano e qualsiasi altra cosa di cui si abbia bisogno.Colazione con sia il dolce che il salato,brioches fresche affettati e formaggi,frutta fresca e uova sode.Insomma c'è n'è un po' per tutti i gusti Buonissimi gli yogurt biologici della Valtellina. Noi siamo arrivati in moto e la proprietaria ce l'ha fatta sistemare vicino al suo ufficio.comunque il paese è tranquillo e non tocca nulla nessuno. L'unico appunto che posso fare riguarda la doccia,che per esigenze di spazio era davvero stretta,ma ci si lava ugualmente e la mancanza di un piccolo kit di cortesia con uno shampoo e un doccia schiuma. Comunque consiglio la struttura sicuramente.

Værelserne ligger ikke samme sted, som man tjekker ind. Værelset var fin og rengøring i top. Nyere istandsat badeværelse med spa. Super fin morgenmad. Trapperne i huset hvor værelserne er er rimelig smal og lidt stejl, så ikke egnet til gangbesværede. Dervio er ikke den by, der sker mest i.

Brilliant!!!

On word, Amazing!!! The B&B is well located and the rooms are cleans and with nice touch. The staff is very friendly and breakfast is good. Dervio is a nice town with a nice costal walk path and very close to other towns near by. The house is a traditional old house that was adapted to accommodate more bathrooms and bedrooms so it could be a bit noise with the steps from the rooms above, but nothing crazy.

Pleasant stay at Dervio

We stayed in the middle of winter and it was very nice to walk into a warm room with under floor heating. The Manger was very welcoming and helped with parking and the wifi. The kitchen was available 24 hours a day to make tea or coffee as required. A good continental breakfast was provided. Close to all amenities in the town.
