The Royal

This place is beautiful, the location was great with just a block from ocean, and a really nice coffee shop. The only thing I would change about it, is having to move the grill, where it’s placed was a pain, but with some muscles we were able to move it away from the garage and house. We had a wasp problem on the front porch, but once I reached out to the manager, they had someone there right away to get rid of them. All in all, the place is wonderful and I would stay there again!

PLEASE HELP. COCKROACHES in House

I could not get ahold of anyone at VRBO to help me with my problems while I was on vacation. My first 2 days was wasted worrying about cockroaches in the house I stayed at. I think something should be done to help me or to take care of me for my problems during my vacation. 2 out of 5 days was wasted worrying about nasty cockroaches. Someone PLEASE HELP

Great Location

Minutes from beach. Great cozy house but we did have 1 issue. There were roaches (food roaches & Cockroaches) in kitchen & living room. I did call management and they sent someone out to spray but it didn’t kill many. I cannot stand roaches therefore I can’t give it 5 stars. We did have a wonderful time overall and it’s a great house.

One block from the beach

Great location, community pool across the street, and overall very clean. Is this house functional for a large group? Absolutely, However lacks some essential amenities for being a “beach house” No beach Towels or chairs, I understand that these things might be left behind by guests ( just charge an extra deposit for these things not allocated for at the end of the stay) not one working knife in the kitchen. One Dishwasher tablet for a four night stay. One trash can liner. Thermostat is set at a “locked” temperature

Wonderful Location

Lovely Home with a perfect location for the Crystal Beach area of Destin. The house is a great and fun place. Stereo throughout the house was a lot of fun! Open concept is great and the furniture was very comfortable and inviting.

Great location!

The location of the house was perfect for our needs! We were right across from the pool and a very short walk from the public access beach. With small kids this was ideal. We loved the fenced front yard with the porch, which is where we spent most of our time when we weren’t at the beach or pool. The house was a convenient layout for our 2 small families.

Great stay and location

Our stay was great, we had an issue with the microwave and toaster not working, we had someone bring us a new toaster and replacement microwave within 24 hours. The location is a 5 minute walk from the beach, the kids also loved that the community pool was right across the street. The entire neighborhood was great, I was wearing my Ohio State hat and shirt, our neighbor just happened to also have graduated from OSU but 20 years before me, so there O-H I-O shouted daily. It was a really memorable experience and that came from the 12 year old who is unimpressed by just about everything. Thumbs up.

Great location

This place is located close to the beach. House was clean and roomy. Beds were comfortable. Only a few things I would recommend. No beach towels were available. It being a house by the beach; I assumed towels would be provided. Tub is slippery and had to find non slip mat under sink later in the week. The older people in my group had a hard time slipping around. Clearly label tv remotes; we spent far too much time trying to figure out which remote worked for the main tv in the living room. Wifi didn't work, but that was resolved quickly. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Parking was a big issue with my stay

Everything was perfect except for the parking We needed more parking space bc the neighbors would report you if your car is hanging on the sidewalk a lil. But overall it’s a wonderful house
