Quiet slice of heaven

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here very much! The place is very comfortable for the two of us and we enjoyed that it was in a small community that allowed you to play pickleball, golf and have quiet access to the beach. It is in a prime location to get to many great restaurants. We will be back for sure!

Great Place

Awesome community with tennis courts, pickle ball, pool, restaurant and security. Beach is a five minute walk and you have own set of beach chairs. Property was clean and quiet.

Weekend Getaway

Matthew and Sara were great hosts overall. We had a great experience and loved the cute little apartment. It’s perfect for a couple to stay in Destin for the weekend and was super clean and comfy. There is a cute little back porch and a front porch to relax. it is close to the beach too, which is a total plus. You get beach Access and we would totally recommend it as there is a cute location with a bar restaurant and restrooms and showers. Again would totally recommend. we will likely be back.

The room was nice. Close to beach, but the walk can be a lot. Beach access was simple. Nice private beach. Felt secure knowing anyone coming in the resort would have to check in at the gate. Took pets and was a good place for them to get out and get a little exercise. The owner was very responsive. Had a few hiccups that were attended to promptly. Would recommend!

We were very happy with the property. It was very upgraded and clean. Our one complaint was that the tv should have had some kind of users guide. We were unable to access local stations or network shows. Mostly, it was the fault of us, old geezers.

Decent place to stay but not worth the cost

Sandpiper cove is a master community with pools and tennis courts, an onsite restaurant and snack bar at the beach. It had everything we wanted in a property. Unfortunately the property itself and the provided chairs and umbrella are in need of renovation-especially for the fees to stay here. We are lucky enough to travel often and can say that this place did not meet our expectations. The inside of the property has been updated but still could use work. The cabinets and doors didn’t open all the way because the floor and ceilings are uneven so you had to pull really hard to use them. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and pots and pans but that was it. All the other places we’ve rented in 30A and Destin also provided a few bottles of water and enough k-cups and sugar packets for a day or two of coffee and some salt and pepper and some baggies or Saran Wrap which this place did not have. The knife set that they have is extremely dull and barely cut watermelon - the most dangerous kitchen tool is a dull knife! That was disappointing again with the price of the rental. The bed however is extremely comfortable! We slept wonderfully in it and that made a big difference for the other items that were lacking. All in all we can’t figure out how this is a 10/10 rating. We’d give it 6.5/7 at most. It has potential to be better if they provided some essentials like the other places we’ve stayed.
