Very nice little neighborhood, enjoyed the beach with a short walk as well as the bay but mostly the views of the bay and the sunset was wonderful

Destin Pointe is a beautiful well maintained community with lots of amenities- three pools in addition to our own personal pool, pickleball courts, basketball hoop, shuffleboard, and bicycles . Our house was clean and provided a well stocked kitchen. The porch swings provided a great way to ease into the day watching the boats coming and going from the harbor. The location worked out great for an easy walk to the beaches.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All around it was a good stay. There were a few problems. Broken pool table, no billiard balls, leaking water in the closet, dirty furniture/needs cleaned, hundreds of frogs in the pool and in the house and garage, construction and noise next door late into the evenings, no garage door opener, utensils were lacking/cheap, fan in master not working, closet door broken, surround sound not working, lights out, broken beach chairs, not many beach or pool amenities, fire table not working, no beach towels, no coffee, filters, condiments, salt and pepper, not much toilet paper or any staples, etc.

Late April trip

The property and its location were excellent. The home is right across the street from one of the community pools which was a big plus. Heating the pool at the home was about the same temperature as the community pools. The home looks out across a sandy dune with a small but nice beach. The bedrooms were small but functional. The master suite was very luxurious. Overall we loved the location and the large balconies with great ocean views.
