Awesome place

You can tell that a lot of thought went into the design of this place. Spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is a little small, however, just a beautiful space.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a large group with lots of kids and this was a great place to stay. The location was phenomenal, a very short and safe walk in the neighborhood to the beach access point. The company was very responsive to a few issues and sent someone out to fix them immediately. There was enough room for everyone and the outdoor space worked for us. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect home for 4-5 couples with children. Kitchen area is smaller than expected. Had a couple of issues upon check in, but they all were fixed within 24 hours. Heated pool upgrade option was enjoyed by all. Beautiful home. Small suggestion for owner. Hooks for bath towels on the back of the doors in bathrooms. This home came with 2 beach chairs and umbrella set up daily by beach staff. 3-4 minute walk to touch the water. Outdoor grill was a high quality grill. Another suggestion for owner. Refrigerator in garage.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the experience was great. Property is great and well furnished for a group of 13. Started a tad bitr rough in that pool was to be heated upon arrival. Several conversations with property managers who kept stating the heater was on. After 48 hours and finally convincing them it was not on, had not been turned on and in fact the gas was turned off to the heater, they agreed to have service company come out and turn equipment on. Only negative aspect of the entire visit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great! We had 15 people and everyone had enough room. The pool with the lake view is the best part of the house! Someone had mentioned that the sun is never on the pool, but we never had that problem. We ran into two problems of a sink staying clogged and outside TV not working. We called about it and they were out the next day. They said the TV needed to be replaced outside, so that was a bummer we never got to use it. Overall, great house that has everything you need! We’ve stayed in 5 other houses in the dunes of Destin and nothing beats this one with the lake view pool!

Amazing Place and Perfect Location

We had an amazing stay for a week and the management of the property was top notch! Very professional and efficient to check in and out and communicate whenever necessary. The house was perfect for the family’s that stay over the week. The location is very private with minimal traffic and the beach is literally a 2-3 minute walk to a private entrance and very good beach services that includes umbrellas and chairs for you. The beach was private and not crowded at all and your surrounded by mostly families. The home has a huge bunk room for 6 and each bunk has a TV. Was perfect for the teen age boys. The elevator is a big plus for getting luggage and groceries to the second and 3rd floors or anyone not wanting or able to use the stairs. The living area and Kitchen were big and great place to hang out and had all the utensils needed. The 3rd Floor has the 3 full bedrooms with full bathrooms and each level has a great view to the very nice lake in the back. The pool was perfect and the gas grill and tv on the patio by the pool were just as nice. I recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and feel safe but still be around the corner to everything you will need for your stay. I’ve stayed at many homes but this was was the best by far. You won’t regret.

Just Short of Perfect...

Reviewer Comments: In short, we had a great vacation and the house was amazing, especially the pool. It is a great location and size for a large family. There was plenty of room for our 4 teenage girls, a 5 year old, a 2 year old, our daughter and her husband, and my wife and I. Both the pool and outdoor grill were professionally cleaned while we were there, so that was a bonus! The beach was a short walk, and not very crowded, even in peak June season. Most of the previous reviews were pretty accurate and the house almost lived up to our expectations, however...The down side: a June 10th 2025 review (we arrived on June 21st) mentioned issues with the oven, and we had a similar plight. It took hours to reach 350 degrees, and our food never actually cooked. The worst part was the smell of gas the last time we used it, which, of course, made us stop trying. MVH sent out a maintenance rep the next day, but the repair was beyond their ability, so last I heard when we were checking out was that they had a contractor coming to fix it. Also, there are many beds in the house, but I tried out 3 of the 5 non-bunk beds, and had to eventually sleep on the couch as they were WAY too old and soft and need to be replaced (in my opinion).And finally, the outdoor area needed some TLC with paint and touch up, but that didn't detract too much from our daily pool experience.Overall, it was a great place to stay, and MVH did the best they could to take care of our needs.

Dream Vacation Home

I searched the web for months looking for the perfect place to gather the family for my Mom's 70th birthday. First let me just say the house itself is a perfect 10/10. (perfect layout, full size pool, kitchen fully stocked, not to mention rooftop views). The elevator is a wonderful bonus when bringing in your personal belongings to the third floor. Also, the location is another bonus the private beach is behind the house and shops and restaurants across the street in walking distance. If you are on the fence just do it, I promise this house does not disappoint. However, with the good you have to prepare for the bad. Communication with the host was lacking I text a couple times and even called ahead to make sure they did not forget to heat the pool as we went in mid-March. Our stay was only four days, and the pool was only heated for the last two days. The biggest disappointment was it was not heated on the day of my Mom's birthday so we had to take our little party elsewhere. They said they would let me know about reimbursement so in that regard they did apologize. Another disappointment was the house floor was extremely dirty if you did not keep your shoes or your socks on your feet would be covered with black dirt. The grill was also dirty therefore we chose not to use it. My only complaint is the fees for cleaning and pool heating I feel it was money wasted. The owner of this house has a gem there just need to be some change in maybe property management, but definitely a dream vacation house.

You need to make sure you have plenty of dish soap and washer soap. They supply only enough for 1 day. Beautiful home. It suited us as we had 16 people. Would do it again.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We invested a lot to stay at this premium location. It wa beautiful, for sure, but a few key elements really tainted our impression. The inside was clean when we arrived, but the outside tables, chairs and BBQ area were dirty, grimy, and in places, swarming with bugs and webs. Not a great taste. We had to call for cleaners to come and disinfect and clean the spaces. They came quickly, but this should have been done when we arrived. Second, the toilets in two of our bedrooms did not flush. This creates an awful experience for our guests. You can have the nicest house in the world, but if you don’t have flushing toilets, there is nothing that can make it ok. LStly, there was no WIFI. We repeatedly asked for this to be fixed. We were international business guests, and we needed WIFI. Almost as much as we needed flushing toilets.We’re not trying to be mean or difficult. The owners tried to fix our issues. But in a short 3 night stay, there isn’t time to take a few days to address things like this. Before long, we’re gone. I think it would be fair for us to get some rebate. I have kindly asked for that, but we have had no offer for compensation. Now I’m going to take this up with Airbnb. I know that Airbnb will ensure we are taken care of.
