We absolutely loved every aspect of this Beach House! Perfectly laid out with everything you could possibly need to make your vacation special. The location was quiet and quaint but super close to the beach, shopping and local dining. We will definitely be back!

Quiet getaway

Far enough away from both the beach and the main road to make it nice and quiet, but close enough to make it an easily accessible getaway location. The pool was a nice way to finish off each day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was amazing! Easy check in (entry code was sent 2 hours prior to check in), the house was beautifully decorated, supplies were thoughtful (we only needed to purchase extra consumable items), and the house was very clean. The pool was fabulous and as pictured, there was plenty of outdoor seating. We loved relaxing on the back porch. They also provided 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas at the Crab Trap (which had plenty of parking, a bathhouse and a restaurant). This was a little farther than the beach entry at the end of the road but was absolutely worth the very small drive. We were able to pay a small fee each day to have our seats reserved (this was only really necessary on Labor Day). The management company was very responsive when we reached out to them. We would definitely recommend this home and plan to stay again!

I would definitely recommend it. It had everything we needed. We did get a little confused about where the beach chairs/umbrellas were located but a quick call to the rental company cleared it up. Vacation Haven was awesome to work with and we would definitely do it all again!

Plenty of space in the backyard to hang out and the screened in porch area is very nice. The beach is very close as is multiple restaurants and shops. The location was perfect and we would def stay here again. A few maintenance issues but they were VERY prompt and responsive about fixing them. 10/10 recommend!

It met most of our needs for a large number of people staying there (10). The only negatives were the fire pit did not work the entire time we were there despite putting in work requests and the house lacks good items for food entertaining like large serving plates, sharp cutlery, etc. Pool is smaller, but was fine for our needs. Overall, would definitely stay again!

The management company was not very accommodating. We ran out of propane tanks n the middle of cooking dinner and they expected us to wait until the next day to receive a new tank. We had to end up buying one. The house could also use some new pans.

We couldn’t even get cool water out of the faucets . It was a nice walk to the beach but we were not told that it was a private beach and the Owners never renewed their membership for access to the beach so we had to walk even further to the public beach. Not happy about that since the description said it had beach access. And it was the whole reason we were there . Especially since the pool was HOT

Destine Paradise

The house was wonderful. It had everything I was looking for in a vacation home. Except I wasn’t told about the rat traps in and outside the house. Why rat traps in this location you might ask, for snakes of course. Yes I’m aware that Florida has snakes just not informed that they were prevalent in urban area. Maybe the 2 snakes we had were trying to find the dead rat on the side of the house. If you don’t mind no hot water occasionally, then this is your VRBO! We had maintenance people over almost daily. Brand new grill, used once the night before, and they were over maintaining grill the next morning. There were maintenance people for gardening the yard, moving garbage cans twice a week, and to fix the water heater. It was fun trying to catch some sunshine when extra unwanted visitors were always dropping in. As this house is owned by a corporate entity communications were as expected. Call back on their time. Would I stay here again, never for the 5500 a week it cost me. It was lovely having a heated pool for an extra 400. Nice location. Walking available to most places but you have to cross the bustiest road in Destin. Just say a prayer before crossing with little people and you should be good. This was my first VRBO experience and I am hesitant to go this route again.

This property was exactly as the pictures showed. It was perfect for our family. While we did get a surprise when we could not use the beach that was a 5 minute walk from the house the beach chairs available at The Crab Trap were perfect!!
