Nice Condo but…

The condo was nice both inside and out. The location was great. However we killed six roaches during our stay. I think for the amount of money being charged, we shouldn’t have experienced a roach infestation problem. We could have used a little bit more towels. We did laundry every night so as to have clean towels in the morning. The washer, dryer, and the dishwasher all worked well though . There was plenty utensils for our stay. There was no latch to the balcony sliding doors so there was no way to lock it. I reported these issues right away. A maintenance guy came in as we were checking out to look at the balcony doors. Overall it’s a nice, but once again for the amount money being charged we shouldn’t have experienced these headaches.

Family trip

Our first time in Destin and we loved it. Our condo was so nice and well stocked. It was super clean and the view did not disappoint. Only complaint is the pool water is way to warm for summer. Other than that......LOVE IT!!!

AMAZING LOCATION!!

Condo was perfect for our needs! Right on the beach, easy access to restaurants and entertainment. The only thing missing in the condo was a dustpan EVERYTHING else they had for our use!

Not enough towels

Not enough towels, had to go out and get trash bags detergent dishwasher soap.. things that you don’t expect to buy when you are on vacation. Description says if not enough towels call.. when you call they say that what you get and that is it… you are practically running the washers twice a day… not ideal… other then that it was fine!

Vacasa is not good

The property itself was wonderful. But we arrived to no working air conditioning. Vacasa informed me that we would need to find somewhere else to stay, after we drove 12 hours to get there and it was 8pm. There was nowhere else to stay, unless we wanted to stuff all 5 of us in a single motel room, miles from the beach. After spending 2 days and at least 7 hours searching for another similar property, we made the decision to stay in the condo and suffer the heat until the AC was finally fixed 2 days later. When I called Vacasa after this, they refused to refund even a small portion of our stay, despite the stress they made us endure. They would not even reimburse me the money I spent on two fans that were left at the condo! I will never book a property managed by Vacasa again, now that I know they don’t mind just stranding a family so far from home, and they are not willing to reimburse a dime for the inconvenience.

Condo was perfect!

The condo was perfect. Probably the most comfortable bed we have had in a VRBO rental. It was clean and well maintained. The only issue we had was the beach service. If you want to sit on the beach you have to pay for chairs and umbrella. You can take your own chairs but you have to sit behind all of the rental chairs. We stayed by the pool for this reason and went to the beach in the evenings. We paid a lot of money to be at the beach and that was a huge disappointment.

Loved this condo. Short walk out to beach. Garage parking was awesome!! Heated pool was perfect for night swimming! Great location to activities, shopping and restaurants.

Honeymoon

My new bride and I really enjoyed our stay. The only issues we had were we had a roach on the kitchen counter when we first arrive. That was the only one we saw. The jets in the tub didn’t work, but the maintenance guy told me the GFIC plug in the living room had been tripped and he reset it. We did not try the tub again but hopefully this corrected the issue. We were disappointed we couldn’t use it while there. Overall we enjoyed it. The view from the balcony was great!!!

Girls Trip

It was a lovely time at the condo. Everything was clean and well stocked when we arrived. Ease of getting in and out was great! Loved our getaway and would definitely come back! Only thing that would be more helpful is having a sign that tells you where the HOA office is when pulling into the garage. It’s tucked away behind the stairs and when you first pull onto the property for the first time, it’s not the easiest to find. We were lucky to have a nice gentleman point us where to go, but an outdoor sign would be helpful.

Beauty and the Beach!!

This was such a wonderful experience and such a beautiful beach paradise! Tawnya (Vacasa) was EXCELLENT in helping with anything we needed! She answered the phone immediately for two concerns we had and the issues were remedied immediately with her being very kind and professional with us! The place was immaculately clean with absolutely everything you could need readily available! I noted that even the shower curtain liners were brand new! The beautiful beach view is breathtaking from the den and balcony. (The view from the MBR was limited due to the “fog” like appearance of the glass door) but this did not deter us one bit! The pool is wonderfully heated and kept beautifully clean as was the hot tub! The walk to the beach can’t be beat for it’s very short distance! The covered designated parking space was a plus! We will be back! Thank you for sharing your lovely home and trusting Tawnya to help take care of things!

Beautiful! Beautiful!

We loved Destin! There was so much to do. It is absolutely beautiful! The condo was everything they said. We will definitely be coming back again in the future. The condo felt huge the floor plan is awesome. Kitchen had everything we needed. Your steps away from beach. Pool and hot tub was great! The condo is location is perfect. Your right in center of town. So if you want to go to the mall your about 5 minutes away, go cart tracks are across the street, board walk was just a 5 minute drive. Perfect perfect location. We actually got to check in 2 hours early with no extra charge. I would give 10 stars if I could. They will call you and let you know when your room is ready. Everything was just so easy and perfect. The master bedroom and bathroom are huge. Loved that me and my husband had 2 separate areas to get ready. There is one vanity and mirror in bath and the other more in the hallway of master suite. Your located on 6th floor so perfect view of everything. Balcony is big. You do have to rent chairs on beach you get 2 chairs and umbrella for about 200.00 week. So if you don’t want to do that make sure you bring some. Read the rules on the beach it’s a little more strict here. So so many great places to eat! Loved the condo loved Destin. We stayed in October was Seafood festival going on we learned to eat around 4:00 to beat the lines at the restaurants. Don’t hesitate to book this condo! Ps loved the pictures of the owners and their family. It made the condo feel more personal. It made you think about all the memories they had made there. You appreciate them letting you enjoy a little piece of their blessing.

Great place but needs minor work

Very nice condo but does need some minor touch ups. Some of the outlets are loose, like the one on the balcony for sure. Also walking around barefooted, feet were black so balcony and inside need a good mopping and cleaning as well. Everything else was nice like beds slept well, bathrooms were clean along with the kitchen. One other thing for those coming to stay. There is nothing in the kitchen but cooking items. No salt and pepper, no coffee filters, no sugar etc. it’s just my thoughts that these are cheap items to maybe keep a stash of for the guests. Totally understand guests buying their own coffee and sugar because everyone is different in what they want. We truly enjoyed our experience and thank you for making your place available to rent!!

Unaccommodating office personnel, etc.

Full of dog hair, Refrigerator didn't work first day, had to go out late at night and buy ice and a large ice chest to fit the food that was going to spoil. TV in master didn't work, rude office personnel. Had to bring my daughter to the Dr when we got home she was so badly congested from the dog hair. Now on steroids and antibiotics. Was looking so forward to this trip as we don't get to go on vaca very often. Disappointed.
