"It's a bit dated, still very nice. Brett, the receptionist was awesome. Gave us great places to go and eat/drink. Very friendly people all around. Housekeeping was very good and refilled everything daily. Car rental gentleman were fun and informative. Bar staff friendly and accommodating. Just a nice place to stay."

"Excellent, friendly service from all the staff. The hotel was a long walk along the front from the ferry terminal but taxis were available outside on the street in front of the port. Very nice breakfast each morning which offered porridge, kippers and boiled eggs to order as well as cereal, pastries and full English. The room was lovely and clean with views over the sea front (we paid extra for the sea view) In the evening a gentle man was playing the piano in the bar which was pleasant while you had a drink or a bar snack. The restaurant served a small but very nice menu each evening. "
