“The house and amenities were attractiveThe bed was not good for me. I have back issues and for some reason the bed set them off. My husband slept fine. My dog loved the fenced in yard and the house and screen room as she could play easily. Loved the screen porch and the areas for sitting in the yard. Just looking at the water was soothing. Walking the dog in the neighborhood presented many rundown homes which was sad to see. It was such a surprise given the Bird House and the attentiveness to……

“This was a beautiful home. 4 adult friends each got own bedroom. Large open living area and screened patio very nice. Perfect for our stay to see manatees. Pool was lots of fun! Our stay in September was off season for manatees but did see 4 on boat tour. Our last day a dolphin and a came to backyard inlet to say bye. ”

“Nice home. Comfortable and spacious. Great kitchen with plenty of room to prepare meals. Great outdoor space including Lanai covered pool and outdoor seating with large TV and Bar area. Great views of the channel outside from the dock for sunset cocktails. Very quiet and easy to get to. Great spot for commuting for golf at Cabot Citrus or looking for a spot to launch a boat and fish. No issues recommending this home to others.”

“We had a fantastic time at The Mermaid House. Plenty of room, great fun in the pool. Used the kayaks a couple of times to visit Three Sisters. Caught catfish from the dock, heard an alligator bellow while fishing, then saw him swim by the next day. Had a visit from a manatee right in front of our dock-couldn’t have asked for more. Crawdaddy’s Restaurant was great because of convenience and happy hour prices on oysters, shrimp and drinks. Ice maker was great and arcade games were fun. The host……

“We came for a long weekend of scalloping and boating. The location of this home couldn’t have been better being the second house from the fast zone out the channel. The views are stunning, the homes is stocked with yummy coffee and everything you could need plus more. Commercial ice machine was the biggest hit for our long days on the boat. We will definitely be coming back.”

“We had a wonderful stay! The communication was great!!! I was thinking that the pool would be cold considering the indoor pool and one of the prior comments, but that was not the case. The pool was perfect. We live in Florida so I was delighted to be able to go into the pool and not be exposed to a ton of sun beating down on us.
