"I can highly recommend this hotel. The staff is wonderful. There is a free transfer from the train station by bus and we were able to get into our room an hour early. The sheets on the bed were pristine and the breakfast in the morning was outstanding. We were able to walk to the palace and university up the hill and down to the river."

"Amazing staff could not get any better in frienliness,helpfilness and efficiency. Loved the roof top deck. Location is central at first it feels a bit grity8 but across street is a great b akery, a few feet away is a Farmacia, abit further ,very good self service laundry an 1 block away is the post office . Also 1/2 block great restsurant and enterance to the fun area with plazas shops and restsurant....you can walk up hill to University. Be sure to see the Fado performance. Breakfast is a small buffet with obligatory scrambled eggs,bacon and rolls. Good hot chocolate out of machine that does coffee also. The best part is the STAFF!. Rooms clean and functional, free parking was appreciated."

"Booked the Junior suite as a treat for us and loved the experience. Ended up having dinner in the courtyard after visiting the university of Columbia all afternoon. The hotel is a Very short 7 minute walk from the campus surprisingly easy after a long day going up hills. Hotel staff was vey helpful. We wanted to put a load of laundry and found we could go out the back door down the staircase and be at a self service laundry in 3 minutes (it does require walking down and up hill). Altogether a great stay. "
