“i stayed in this cabin to enjoy hiking in the gorge. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities needed for the term of my stay. Checking in and out was very convenient. Communication with the host was very accommodating. It was a bit of a drive each day to and from my hiking destinations but i would not necessarily allow that to hinder my decision to return to this cabin in the future.”

“Easy to find but still had that private secluded with nature feel. Loved the hot tub on the covered deck! Was able to enjoy rrlaxing in the tub during the rain and storms we had during our visit. Cabin was beautiful, very clean, and had plenty of rainy day activities. Will definitely be planning a longer stay next time so we can utilize the full kitchen! Great location, we were only 10-15 minutes away from all the stops we planned. 10/10 would recommend”

“Lovely little cabin! The cabin was spotless, comfortable and nicely appointed. There were neighbors fairly close but we never heard them - overall the setting was super quiet. The location was convenient to anything you would want to do in the Gorge. Couldn't ask for a better place to come back to after a long day outdoors. Be sure to bring a smoke detector if this a concern as there is none in the cabin.”

14. Fern Gulley Cabin with Hot Tub, Pet Friendly, near DBBB / Hollerwood

“DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU HAVE EITHER A TRUCK OR SUV WITH 4WD. The road to the cabin is dangerous and even with 4WD we could barely get up the hill. Two cars ended up in ditches and vacations were ruined because they couldn’t leave the cabin. The host would only communicate through VRBO but there was no WIFI. When I did leave messages they were ignored and I got an automated check out notice instead. There was a huge wasp nest right above the loft window where my daughter slept, no……
