「The villa was good, a lot of space and well equipped. Communication was completely via email, which is a bit anonymous. We didn’t have any problems, but I don’t know how it would have worked out only via email if there were one. Quite complicated to get transport for non Japanese people. 」

「This traditonal 100 years old japanese house could have been one of the most amazing places, if the owner would take so time to keep it clean and caring about surroundings. Yes, it looks fantastic on photos, but as soon as you open the door to the house it smelled stuffy , the kitchen and kitchen tools were greasy, the old bath rooms was not clean. And it felt like that the shampoo were left overs from past guests. The fridge was not cleaned, and there was old food in it. The cupboards were...

「DON'T RENT THIS PLACE! The owner failed to communicate at all. And so we arrived at the property and had no code to open the lockbox. To make things worse VRBO did not have the code either. So after talking on the phone in the rain and dark for one hour with VRBO, we ended up giving up on entering the house. And we were forced to find another place. 」

「The property is very well located (walking distance to commercial streets, dining and shopping). The beds and the futons were comfortable. The check in process went well but be aware that they send the details as soon as book the place and their email got a little bit lost in my mailbox (that was my fault).
