「We didn't know what was meant by "the peaceful side of the Smokies" until we got there. So glad we chose this property! Townsend is a quiet, quaint town that is an easy drive to the park, Cades Cove or any of the attractions in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge you want to check out. This propery was better than what was pictured! The jetted tub was a great way to relax after a day of hiking. Better than the hot tub. We could hear frogs chirping and watch fireflies blinking. 「I loved my stay here with gorgeous view of the blue ridge mountains, surrounded by trees. I loved breathing in the oxygen, slept on the super comfy bed with the door open to let in the clean air, and even did my laundry! The lightning bugs at night are super special, too. The jacuzzi was also a treat. Even driving through the area is fun! 」

「The cabin sits up a small holler about a hundred yards from the river. Down by the river, you have a dock and a couple of private ways to sit and enjoy. The cabin is relatively new, so everything looks and works great—very comfortable bed and furniture. The Internet was good. It’s also located in an area that makes it easy to jump out into nature and go hiking or run into towns for supplies or great food. Ellijay has great food too.
