"Great stay! I feel like the rooms could use a little extra sound proofing but thankfully we had our white noise machine and didn’t have an issues. The big porches looking over the waterfront are very relaxing. The coffee machine in the room was a bit questionable and no creamer but thankfully the wharf is walkable and the food was incredible. Whomever is back there cooking is doing it right! We enjoyed our stay here, although it’s a very small neighborhood and everything closes by 8pm. It wouldn’t be our cup of tea to spend more than a night here as we’re driving through or maybe if you are doing a lot of hiking in Cutler and want a quiet peaceful night. Price was on the higher side for the 5 places we stayed driving up the coast. It’s odd that we paid more here than in Bar Harbor. "

"Mid June was lush, everything was green and many flowers in bloom, just lovely. Lots of hiking, birding, some kayaking and Campobello. Had some fog but headed inland a couple days and found clear skies. The cottage is inviting & clean and the studio is inspiring - my husband paints in there. A nice surprise to find the wonderful veggies and greens from Far Out Farms in the fridge. Had a great time and already booked for next year. "

"We liked having the two separate buildings, the two large beds were really comfortable and clean. My dad mentioned the pull out couch smelled a little like dog. Bathroom was a little small but we were able to make do. The hot water was almost instant and got really hot, which was nice and relaxing. We didn't have any dogs with us for this stay, but I appreciate the fenced in yard. The only major complaint we had was the door lock system. The main building unlocked easily enough, but to lock it again the shimmy-shake only worked from time to time. The lobster lair lock worked fine for 1.5 days, and then it didn't. Thankfully, Sophie was super speedy in rescuing us and we were able to get it unlocked after climbing through the window. Lol otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay. Lots of birds around, didn't see any seals or whales this time, but beautiful sunsets were great!"

"The cabin was a bit difficult to find, but when we did we were delighted with the accomodations and how well Kelly had stocked it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - so peaceful and comfortable!"

"We loved this place on Orange Lake. Such a cute cabin and relaxing. The living area looked out onto the lake and the kitchen were incredibly well stocked with everything we needed and then some. We spent an evening by the fire pit staring at the lake at sunset; they provided ample firewood. Patsy and Ken were great, responsive hosts. This was the first leg of our trip through Maine, and by the end, we were wishing we’d spent two more days at the Orange Lake cabin."
