「Very happy. Will do again.」

「Pretty nice stay overall. Location's clean and quiet. Deer and peacocks around if you like those. Hard to get lost. Only 5 miles off from stores if you need to pick something up. Negatives: I'm short and had a hard time reaching things, so I had to buy a stool (that's a me problem, I realize). The wi-fi never worked so I had to rely on mobile data (TV streamed through satellite so that was fine). Dealt with a lot of spiders and flies. Didn't try the hot tub because two wasps were hanging around...

「This is NOT a 3 bedroom, it is a 2 bedroom with a small futon in the living room. Access is by outside stairs that are grate-style. Apartment was clean except for floors and under the beds. Kitchen was great (stovetop bulb is not operational), plenty of cookware and kitchenware. Internet was not working. Close to downtown area, plenty of parking, walking distance to local shops, quiet area.」

「The house was perfect for a family gathering. Loved the front porch with all the rockers. The area is peaceful and the scenery beautiful. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything needed.」

「We were wanting a camping experience- and this property offered that. Our kids especially enjoyed the pool and hanging around the campfire. Fishing was fun. I didn’t see an easy way to put a kayak into the lake, but it would be possible off of the dock. We visited Giant City state park - about 25 minutes away.」

「The cabin was amazingly clean despite being in the woods. It was very quiet. The property was beautiful. A simple way to get away from town for a relaxing vacation. The host was very helpful.」

「This property owner is non communicative with both guests and VRBO. They will eventually, at the last minute when prompted by vrbo, send check in instructions and say they expect a 5 star review. We would not feel safe traveling to this property (especially with children) without solid communication. All onus is placed on guests no matter the circumstances. This property owner knows that and works in those parameters. Cannot in good faith recommend this property or host.」

「Over the past four years while visiting our Saluki, SIVR and Wall Street Boutique has been a favorite place for us to stay. They have taken such good care of us on all our visits to see our daughter. The apartments are beautifully appointed, extremely comfortable and always clean. It has been the perfect home away from home for us. The welcome guide was always full of great recommendations for the area. Any future stays in Southern Illinois will definitely be with Southern Illinois Vacation...
