"We arrived at 7pm and the code would not unlock the door. We called the number provided and left a message. We also emailed for assistance but we didn’t get a response. We waited and called 3 times. We then left to find another place to stay. The lady called after 20 minutes but we had left by that time to find some where else to stay. She then sent very rude text messages to us - we do not recommend this place. "

"Wir haben in einem Zelt geschlafen und die Nacht wirklich genossen. Es ist echt ein Erlebnis und wir würden es jeder Zeit wieder buchen. Der Service und die Kommunikation sind großartig. Es wird auf alle Wünsche eingegangen und diese möglich gemacht. Das Personal ist total freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen und das Frühstück waren sehr gut. Die gesamte Anlage inkl. des Wellnessbereichs sind wirklich Klasse. Vielen Dank für das tolle Erlebnis."

"Beautiful clean home in the country. Enjoyed the space and had a lovely time. The beds were a bit hard and could have used bigger and more pillows. Although there were lots of wine glasses, we could have used regular drinking glasses"

"We stayed there as a group of 4adults, 1 child and a dog for a long weekend and loved it! All you hear there are birds and other animals far away. Very peaceful. Town with a large supermarket is 10mins away by car. The swimming pool is a god send if the sun is out as it gets very hot in that part of the country. I'd definitely return!"

"Nuno was great to deal with. Gave us recommendations for dinner that turned out great. The only negatives were a hard bed and not much hot water for showers."

"This place was incredible from every perspective. First of all Jose and his wife were generous, kind and thoughtful from booking right to meeting us (late at night) at the house and showing us around. The wine, beer and cookies were a lovely extra touch. The house was perfection. Cozy, comfortable, modern renovation but maintained all of its old charm. Beds we're comfortable, and a clothes rack provided for each of us. We felt like we were waking up in paradise every morning."

The only 1 thing that bordered me staying there is that there are so many flies around and they get into the house easily. We had to constantly guard against them during meals."

"Passámos 4 noites na casa da Oliveira e apesar do frio que se fez sentir a climatização da casa é muito boa e estivemos sempre confortáveis. Os miúdos adoraram brincar no exterior e interagir com os animais da quinta. Como aspetos menos positivos a limpeza (alguns locais da cozinha menos acessíveis como as prateleiras de cima dos armários e alguns utensílios como o bule e a torradeira não estavam limpos e prontos a utilizar). A cozinha tem o essencial mas demos por falta de uma tesoura para...

"A casa é mas tem o essencial. A piscina é partilhada e é ideal para crianças, não é muito extensa. Na quinta, tem os animais, galinhas, gansos, perús e a burra, que é um sucesso com as crianças. Os donos foram muitos atenciosos. Gostaria repetir a estadia."

A casa é espaçosa e bem equipada, com todos os utensílios e equipamentos necessários para uma habitação com qualidade. "Fantastic characterful property in Cunqueiros. We loved the house, an amazing conversion. The villagers we met were friendly. Nuno gave us really excellent ideas about the sights and events in the area. I’m sure we’ll be back when the weather’s better to try some of the river beaches. Highly recommended."
