"Property is in a good location, and is a good size apartment with 2 double bedrooms, a kitchen and lounge. There’s also a washing machine and an outdoor verandah where you can hang clothes. There is a beach view which is lovely but unfortunately, this is where it ends. Apartment was not clean. Everything appeared dirty. We washed the towels before using them as we weren’t sure they were clean. Apartment smelt like cooking, and was very stuffy. Only one bowl provided, so tricky with breakfast! "

"Very well stocked apt with 3 bedrooms & 2 bathroom/showers. Linen and towels included.
Kitchen has everything you need including a washing machine. Unit has screens on windows and back balcony alowing you to keep windows open while A/C is off. Nice breeze between front and back balconies.
There is a beach and supermarket walking distance as well as the very under rated Dodo traffic circle. "Stand beside a Dodo". Main shopping mall is about 3 km, (2 mi), away. Apt faces inward toward pool area...

"The apartment was not cleaned when we arrived and when we asked for a cleaner, we were promised one who did not show up throughout our entire stay. We had issues with the temperature of the water in the shower (it was either too hot or too cold - no in between).
Our bedding and blankets were unclean.

"Wir waren zu zweit mit 10 Übernachtungen in diesem Ferienhaus. Das haus liegt sehr nahe am Strand, es gibt paar recht gute Restaurants in der nähe und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß). Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig, und hat so weit alles, was man so für eine Urlaub braucht. Bettwäsche und Badetücher waren frisch gewaschen. "We just cannot rate this property highly enough. Absolutely fantastic stay. From initial contact to the sad time we said goodbye communication has been excellent. The property is spacious and clean, it has everything you need. The pool is very private and welcoming after a day out exploring. "We had a great 10 day honeymoon at La Pirogue. They were very accommodating at the beginning and end of holiday giving us a spare room to shower in. The food everg day was incredible. Cocktails lovely. No extra hidden charges. We played crazy golf and used the sports facilities too. Would definitely recommend and we will be back soon! "

"The hotel is in a beautiful location and the amenities and setting are in tune with nature. It's a great place to stay and relax. Our top deck chalet room was 20 metres from the beach and 15 metres from the restaurant. Just perfect to zone out and chill for a week.The staff were great, attentive and helpful when needed and never too forward. Food excellent, plenty of choice - just a great week in a fabulous location. Venture out into the national park or take a glass bottom boat to interrupt the beach time.
HIGHLY recommended - hotel and location. "
