Our experience was made even better by the exceptional hospitality of Gisele, who welcomed us warmly and ensured we had everything we needed. It was either freezing cold water or boiling hot water. No in between. The temperature of the water couldn't be set. "

"There is no shortage of "Pousada's", or bed and breakfasts, in the Urubici area. It seems to be the main cottage industry (pun kind of intended). This was a great place though, off the beaten track so it was very quiet and private. However, it was still just a few minutes from the main road and a great launching point for local attractions. "My husband and I visited Florianopolis recently. The staff at the Palm Beach Apart Hotel was terrific throughout our weeklong stay. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and took the time to make sure we felt we’d chosen the right beachfront hotel. We did. The only thing the hotel lacks is a restaurant. But since it’s surrounded by several neighborhood eateries, that really didn’t affect us. We plan to return to Floripa. When we do, we’ll book again at the Palm Beach Apart."
