“Perfect! That is the best way to describe our stay. We celebrated our 25th anniversary with a stay at Doc’s Lakeside Cabin. We only need two things for a get away to be enjoyable. 1. Clean accommodations. 2. Peaceful quiet solitude. Doc’s cabin did not disappoint. The cabin was immaculately clean to a level we’ve not experienced in a rental. The serenity of the screened-in deck in the morning with the sounds of nature cannot be described. What a great way for us to celebrate our life together……

“The owner of this property was very quick and responsive to messages. The house was very clean and well stocked. The location was great and very convenient for my visit to SEMO. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“The three bedrooms on the main level share one full bath and one half bath. The bedroom upstairs has its own bath. The only negative for us was that several people were sharing that one full bath, but it worked out fine. I thought the location was good and the beds were comfortable.”

“We came for a weekend family girls trip. Location was great, walkable to everything. Lots of space, clean, had everything we needed. One shower was tricky, but we managed. Thank goodness for two toilets!”

“Host was very responsive to my questions. Even checked on us while we were there via text. Beds were very comfortable. Bedding was top notch. Everything was clean. The bathrooms were a little dated but we had no issues with it. It is an older house. There are stairs that are a little steep but they are working on adding a handrail to both sides for safety. Over all I would definitely stay again!”
