“We loved our stay on Trout Lake! Check in was easy and as described. The kitchen was well-stocked and nicely set up for meal prep for our group of 7. We enjoyed the bi-level deck with a large table and chairs for 6 on both levels. The inside common area was plenty spacious for the one rainy day we needed to be indoors. “ Fantastic stay! Dog friendly. Super safe. We all had a great time on the pontoon boat! Place was clean and included ALL the amenities! Neighbors were so friendly and helpful! Brett, Alice, and Chris made us feel welcome prior to the trip and all through the trip. Would recommend for sure!”

Miles of beautiful pine needle covered hiking trails along the river just steps away. Great location, pretty short drive to campuses, restaurants, convenience stores. “Our family had a wonderful stay at Sunset Cottage. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the lake and all the amenities that were provided. The cabin was just as described and any question or concern we had was answered promptly. It was the perfect vacation to slow down and make family memories. ”

“The place was great! Location is was excellent, great sunrises and sunsets. Yes there's a marina bar downstairs, no it wasn't a problem, it was closed up by 8:30 each night and it was never rowdy. Whitney is a great host! There are definitely somethings that need a little work, but it wasn't a problem. One of the showers was out while we were there, but the other worked fine.
