"well appointed apartment. Good facilities - good size - and a fantastic view over the sea. Staff very helpful - particularly Blaze (sorry if I've spelt it wrong) who was incredibly friendly and helpful. Only downside is that bedding and towels attract an extra change - it's within the detail of the Hotel listing so important that you read fully and consider taking your own if appropriate."

"The nature around, especially the beach and the dune, are breathtaking. The aquaclub and other activities are great. But the resort needs renovation in some places and more emphasis on cleanliness."

"House not very welcoming with chairs on table like a closed cafe. Also, bowls and cups had chips and cracks in them and a few not cleaned well. Saying that, host was very responsive and helpful and answered all our questions. Location was great and house was comfortable. You have to pay for parking on all roads but spaces right outside. Lovely area for cycling"

"Stayed at Saint Valery Sur Somme. This is a wonderful place, full of history and plenty of things to do and see. The Gite is clean, tidy, comfortable and handy for everything in Saint Valery. Would love to visit Saint Valery again and also stay at the fisherman's house again."

"We have had a brilliant week at this beautiful villa. The location is perfect, the beach is beautiful and the villa is large and well equipped. The host was very friendly and laid back. Just a note, if you are taking your own bedding the beds are king size doubles not standard doubles and the pillows are square rather than rectangular!! "Character of property enhanced by decorative touches. Difficult stairs leading from entrance hall especially with cases. It was very hot at night, a fan would have been appreciated as a heatwave was forecast. Access to the host was very easy as she was in her shop below on most days."

"It was peaceful. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful, especially about finding a meal in local towns. Breakfast was very limited but good. Bread,butter, jam and good coffee. I would suggest charging a bit more and putting on ham, pastries and cheese. Enjoyed it and would return. Tom. Also dog friendly."
