“We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little cabin on the lake. Thoughtfully designed, it included everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Inside, the classic Minnesota cabin aesthetic came through beautifully—plenty of pine tongue-and-groove paneling and charming wildlife decor set the tone.What really surprised me was the variety of waterfowl on the lake. As a lifelong Minnesotan, I spotted several birds I couldn’t even identify, which says something!I titled this a "Diamond in the Rough"……

“We had a wonderful, relaxing getaway. We loved the boathouse--cute, quaint, and right on the water. The air conditioning worked well and was a life-saver in the hot, humid weekend weather. The owners were friendly, responsive to questions, and communicated well. No real swimming area at the property (unless you went further out into the lake), but it was a lot of fun to take advantage of the provided kayaks and paddleboards. “Very comfortable and visually striking place with lots of nice little touches (e.g., gorgeous hand towels in the bathrooms; premium soaps / toiletries). Kitchen was pretty well stocked with cookware and tools, though I would prefer a regular coffee maker to a Keurig. It was maybe a little dusty -- my allergies flared up after a day there, but I can't say for sure that it was the house, and everyone else in my group was fine. There was some difficulty / delay in getting the access details, but……

“This was our second stay with one year. Absolutely a wonderful facility inside and out for our family vacation. We love the open kitchen, dining room and living room. The kitchen is well-stocked with lots of counter space that made cooking family breakfasts and spaghetti with meatballs dinner enjoyable. And even though the 4th of July was hot and humid, we had a small fire to roast hot dogs and marshmallows for smores. Our 12 year old grandson loved the chickens and horses and the onsite……

“I was in town for a wedding and needed a place that allowed dogs. The owner was awesome and had multiple dog friendly items in the house. It was just 5 of us that ended up staying (and two dogs) but there was plenty of room for everyone including my 89 year old Mom who loved having her own main floor bedroom and bathroom.
