"This was a great place to stay. We needed a place for an overnight and I saw that Fireside was supposed to be clean. It *was* really clean-- our room was big, the window actually opened and let in fresh air, the TV was enormous, and the working fireplace was great! Definitely two thumbs up. "

"From a very cordial late check-in to the beautifully appointed room, this property is exceptionally well run. The room was beautifully decorated and had anything one might need while traveling. The owner was hospitable and very engaging. The property and our room was cleaner than most hotels I have stayed in around this country. Beds had very new linens. If you need lodging in the general Skowhegan, Maine vicinity, you will not regret booking at this property. My family will be back!"

She gave us a little background on her life and family, the home and area. It felt like we were visiting family! I would definitely visit again and highly recommend. "

My only disappointment was that I had indicated that I needed disabled access when I booked the room. The manager expressed their dismay, but since they were fully booked, there was nothing that they could do. Is there anything you can do with your site to pass such information along? "
