"My adult kiddos, our teenager and my parents all came out for a short getaway. This property was exactly what we needed. House was perfect when it came to space for everyone. Clean and spacious. Beds were supper comfy. The river was absolutely gorgeous, clean and clear. The kids loved being on their inner tubes and going down the rapids during the day and kayaking at night. My husband and I absolutely enjoyed the downtime, parents relaxing in water. while the kiddos being kids. Definitely will be back. 10/10 recommend"

"Cozy place! Wendy, the host, was very responsive and did everything to ensure we had a nice and comfortable stay. This place is clean and has everything you need for home cooked meals, grilling and smores around the fire pit. Even the fur babies enjoyed their time in Leakey! We highly recommend!"

"We enjoyed our stay! The river was absolutely beautiful after the recent rains (July 2026). We went down to the closest water crossing where the water was flowing pretty good and had the best time. The kids (2y-11y) loved exploring, swimming, and floating. The house was perfect for our group. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of space. The hosts were incredibly attentive to us and we appreciated their quick replies for some things came up. We would definitely stay again!"

"Christy our host was very responsive and directions was very clear. Was a very smooth check-in when we arrived. Cabin was well supplied with so much which was very convenient and if you happened to forget something more than likely it was there. Will book again if we are in the area."

"The property owner was GREAT! Very detailed instructions on the check in process and he provided additional local tips to make the trip more enjoyable. The location is wonderful as it is close enough to “town” but very secluded, such that we only saw a handful of other people on the river while were here for Mother’s Day weekend. Very comfortable accommodations and awesome that it is dog-friendly."
