If your looking for something to do to cool off in Nicaragua's heat, head to Laguna de Apoyo just outside Managua. Resorts line the rim of this volcanic Crater Lake and you can sit by the lakeside enjoying piña colodas. Swimming here is great though there's not much in the way of beaches. Spend the day or stay over night and be prepared to chill.

El personal es muy amable, tanto la recepción como las chicas de la cocina. Se preocupan por el cliente. La habitación estaba limpia y me gustó que tengan nueva ropa de cama. El que tengan transporte al aeropuerto es excelente especialmente 24 horas al día.

Staff is always respectful & friendly. Food is amazing & they have a new menu with incredible choices. Rooms are comfortable but we experienced mosquitoes both nights. We appreciate everyone at Contempo!
