A very comfortable well appointed lodge

A very comfortable well appointed lodge with excellent service focused staff. All rooms perched on the river bank with large viewing deck areas, the room also large, immaculately clean, a/c, inside or exterior shower, full bath with view. The food was also very good. Included 5 course served fixed menu dinner each evening, wine very reasona-ble from £12 a bottle. Lovely small pool area for a welcome cooling break. WiFi at the lodge main areas only not in room.

Good, but not five star (except service)...

Staff service=***** Room cleanliness=**** Food=*** Room=**** Staff was very nice and helpful. Room once was nice, but now smells like old wicker and has stained mats and poor lighting. Mosquitos (with malaria) ravenous so had to use much bug spray. Kitchen lept forgetting I was lactose intolerant! Erastus the safari guide was great. Wifi was very slow and only in reception area. Meals were well presented but lacked taste (e.g. BBQ sauce flavored tomatoe soup, use of common bottled sauces on appetizers, bland tasting meals in general). Location is nice (by river), can't really walk outside of property as area is very poor. Overall the staff made it 4 stars otherwise I'd give it three. They do put effort into your stay.

Mauvaise qualité de restauration et de service

Si vous aimez les ennuis, alors foncez ! une chambre froide avec un manque de lumière sous la douche, un manque de prise électrique. Le wifi ne fonctionne pas. Quant au restaurant, nous avons retourné le plat en cuisine, car la viande était mauvaise avec des nerfs et beaucoup de graisse. D’autres tables on fait comme nous. Plus de 50 minutes pour être servi du potage. Le vin est mauvais et est servi en quantité minime pour un prix prohibitif.

Luxus am Okavango

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt in einer super Lage mit luxuriösen Chalets, komfortablem Badezimmer mit zusätzlicher Aussendusche. Sehr schöner Restaurantbereich mit sehr gutem Essen. Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Sehr gute Erreichbarkeit, letzter Kilometer leicht sandig. Boat Trip am Morgen eine unbedingte Empfehlung (keine weiteren Aktivitätenvon uns in Anspruch genommen, daher keine Beurteilung möglich)

Een fantastische ervaring. Op een zeer mooie locatie aan de rivier. Een oase van rust. Een prachtige kamer. Een fantastisch restaurant. Echt de moeite waard. Ook de uitstapjes zijn leuk. Wij zijn naar het locale dorp geweest.

Immer noch sehr gut, war aber schon besser!

Wir waren 2019 in der Anlage und warten total begeistert. Der Zustand der Bungalows sollte mal überprüft werden. Das Personal war etwas zu wenig Kundenorientiert, aber nach 2 Gesprächen wurde es besser. Massage einfach TOP!!

Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und fügt sich toll in die Natur und Landschaft ein. Die geräumigen Bungalows befinden sich am Ufer des Okavango (Kavango) und bieten eine tolle Aussicht! Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstück sowohl als auch das allabendliche 5-Gänge-Menü (variierte jeden Tag) waren stets hervorragend und auf hohem Niveau! Der Restaurant- und Bar-Bereich ist auch äußerst geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Der Pool ist hübsch im Garten integriert und bot Privatsphäre. Allein wegen der Aussicht ist der Spa-Bereich schon einen Besuch wert - und selbstverständlich auch wegen der Anwendungen ;-) Das gesamte Personal ist immer freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Leider funktionierte das WIFI während unseres Aufenthalts komplett nicht. Unsere mtc-Prepaid-Karte brachte uns aber immerhin 4G. Die Tour "Buffalo Game Park" ist sehr zu empfehlen! Unser Guide war aufmerksam, freundlich und kompetent. Die Sundowner Bootstour (Popafälle) war entspannt, sehr schön und durch unseren Guide besonders lustig! Das Resort ist von Divundu (Tankstelle, Supermarkt) aus in 15min mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Kurzum: wir haben uns äußerst wohl gefühlt!

Luksus ophold i Divundu

I forhold til området var det en stor overraskelse at møde en så fremragende logge. Meget store værelser med kæmpe badeværelse suppleret med udendørs bruser. Stor altan med udsigttil floden. Hjælpsom og serviceminded personale. Veltillavet og velsmagende menu og stort vinkort. Vi kan anbefale gamedrive i Mahango national park. Vi var skuffede over bådturen. Vi så flodheste, og ikke meget andet i de 2 - 3 timer tuen tog.

LUXUS PUR mit Wohlfühlgarantie

Traumhafter Aufenthalt. Super große schöne Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick und super Bad. Excellenter Service immer und überall. Ausgezeichnete Küche sowohl fürs Auge als auch die Qualität. Wir waren absolut positiv überrascht. Massage war auch sehr gut. Hier bekommt man für sein Geld alles in nahezu einer Perfektion und das in Namibia. Wir waren schon etwas traurig nach 4 Übernachtungen wieder fahren zu müssen. Die sundowner river tour können wir auch empfehlen. Diese Anlage ist für uns einfach traumhaft. Falls wir nochmal nach Namibia fliegen werden wir garantiert wieder diesen Luxus der Anlage genießen.

Excellent relaxing time

Nice Lodge beside the Okavango. Amazing view perhaps on bathing Hippos. Friendly staff, delicious kitchen and all is clean.

Luxus inmitten afrikanischer Natur

Das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend. Es wurde sogar danach gefragt mit welcher Geschwindigkeit unser Menü serviert werden sollte (slow, medium oder fast). Das haben wir noch nie erlebt. Auch unser Tisch war wunderschön gedeckt. Der Bootsausflug zu den Hippos mit anschließendem Picknick auf einer kleinen Insel am Wasserfall bei Sonnenuntergang war traumhaft romantisch. Der Pool war super sauber und sehr erfrischend. Es war eine tolle Zeit in dieser Lodge.

okavango delight

Great stay for 3 nights in the west caprivi. Only 1 km off the tar road easy access for any vehicle. Fabulous river trip along the okavango , many birds crocs and hippos then finishing with sunset at popa falls. Mahango NP close by 2 trips here one by ourselves one guided, both excellent. A beautiful place delicious food , wonderful accommodation and staff.
