“Centrally situated for Donegal town and good parking at hotel. Room in need of a total revamp, huge room but tiny cabinets. Tv is out of date and not up to standard. Bathroom is badly planned with no room to place any equipment. Shower is poor and bathroom has a bad damp smell. A little attention to detail, updating and cleaning could bring this hotel to the standard expected.”

“This is a most charming historic guest house. The building is old, but well cared for and cozy. The hosts are delightful! It's right in the middle of town, walking distance to everything. I highly recommend this place!”

“The room was very well thought out, comfortable and with a great deck with a hot tub on it.”

As a guest house it mainly has classic decor/furniture style and although it feels homely, maintenance needs were evident. Security is relatively basic for a quiet location out of town, particularly room doors operated by key alone. Breakfast service is good as were the staff helpful and welcoming.”

“Charming old country house on beautiful property with gardens, situated just minutes walk from Ardara village. The house is an old period home and maybe in need of some upgrades here and there. But if you're into these kinds of residences, you'll love it. We were put in a room in the adjacent coach house, which was a put as the upstairs rooms in the house itself looked beautiful and we were the only people staying the night we were there. There is no dinner served, so you'll need to head down to……

“Rom was lovely and large. Staff that checked us in were great. Bar/restaurant staff a little less so. Wouldn't let us sit at a table to have a drink and think about ordering. Insisted we sit at the bar. I gave a sore knee and couldn't. So we had to sit outside. It's covered and warm but all the smokers go outside and that was yucky”
