Kralendijk Donkey Beach Hotels

"Rooms very clean and spacious. Cleaning ladies were very cheerful. Restaurants had a variety of dishes. "

"The hotel itself is decent, but the service is extremely disappointing. We had to repeatedly ask reception every day just to get water bottles in our room, and even then, they often didn’t deliver. We also booked a fishing trip through the hotel for $720 USD. We showed up at the marina with our two children and waited, but the boat never arrived. When we followed up, we were told the captain had an accident the day before and couldn’t work. The hotel never informed us in advance, leaving us waiting there for nothing. To make matters worse, getting a refund was a hassle. It took three weeks and a complaint through VISA before we finally got our money back. Due to currency exchange, we ended up losing about $50 CAD. I contacted the hotel about this, but they didn’t even bother to respond. Overall, while the property is acceptable, the lack of communication and poor service made for a very frustrating experience."

"We had this very nice studio on the 2nd floor. Nice view, wonderfull bed. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no elevator if you’re bringing heavy baggage. But it was a great stay!"

"Studio Suite had a great kitchen. Beautiful ocean view from the balcony. Great mattress, pillows and bedding. Nice casino compared to the other one locafed kn the island. Excellent swimming and snorkeling. Different options to enter the ocean. "

"The bedrooms were all very comfortable. The upstairs one has steep stairs to it which could be improved with a railing. The pool was fantastic and the private beach was wonderful. Lots of good snorkeling right off the beach. I love that there are a variety of places to sit and hang out if you need to be out if the sun. We appreciated the snacks in fridge at arrival. The tall sinks in the bathroom are a bit tricky if you are short. Some additional instructions about the dryer would be helpful. I did not know that you had to drain the water from it. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Overall I would recommend this property. "

"Friendly, responsive staffs, beautiful newer property. We value our privacy and staff was very helpful in accommodating our request. Villa was very spacious and very well appointed, private pool was cherry on top. It has cleaning station for dive/water sport equipments as well as outdoor shower for rinsing, very handy. Ate at the Ocena Club across the street 3 times, the view, food and service were phenomenal. Absolutely loving the stay at Grand Windsock."

"This house was absolutely amazing- if anything it was more breathtaking than the pictures. The house is very well laid out and comfortable, and we loved swimming and snorkeling from the deck. We would love to come back one day!"

"I had a great time in Bonaire and at Christine's apartment. It is exactly as advertised and pictured. The view from the balcony is terrific. I was there to dive and the apartment is next to Dive Friends Port Bonaire location. And having the airport across the road was helpful. The apartment is a short drive to the main part of Kralendijk and a bunch of good diving and snorkeling sites are a few minutes away. Christine always responded quickly and sent me a lot of useful information (this was my first trip to Bonaire). The property manager is a nice guy (though I never had any need to call him). I'd love to come back!"
