「The Jet Hotel was nice stay on the way out of town. The rooms are functional, the bed was quite firm but that didn't seem unusual for Cameroon. A few notes: the air conditioner just has an on off switch but it works, the pool was quite nice but had a large party there so not exactly peaceful. The area immediately surrounding the hotel is not the best but I didn't spend much time in Douala so I can't give a true comparison to other areas. The hotel staff was somewhat insistent that we take cabs...
