"We spent a lovely week in Cath's chalet. It was very comfortable and almost a home from home. We were very grateful for the generous welcome pack as we had been travelling all day and arrived quite late. Very thoughtful of Cath. She is a lovely host and nothing was too much trouble. We bought binoculars as we had read in the reviews that you could watch the deer in the nearby fields and we weren't dissappointed. We had many sightings of them. The area is lovely but you do need a car to travel to...

"My wife and I have stayed in a fair number of VRBO's, and we must say that this one was one of the nicest. It's located in a quiet rural area, surrounded by lovely mature trees full of songbirds, which suited our tastes to a "t". Nearby towns and villages have plenty of services and there are many attractive days out to be had in the area. "Very comfortable house in a lovely spot (only slight difficulty is the spiral staircase - which could be tricky for some). Especially good if you like fishing with a beautiful lake right outside the front door. Surroundings are extremely quiet and peaceful with plenty of nice walks in the area. Host’s really nice and friendly and helpful. Would certainly go back."
