"We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and filled with lots of antiques which added character. The house is in a quiet rural location but close to Excideuil (we recomend the market) and Brantome for kayaking. Didier was a lovely host and came early in the morning every other day to clean the pool. Would highly recommend"

"De rit naar het vakantiehuisje is verrassend. Kronkelig door het bos vind je de locatie makkelijk als je de bordjes volgt. Julia wachtte ons op en heette ons heel hartelijk welkom. Na een korte tour en introductie konden we van de rustige en groene omgeving genieten vanaf het overkapte terras of het zwembadje. De inrichting is netjes en compleet. De keuken beneden is helemaal nieuw en alles is aanwezig, zelfs een blender!. Boven is het tweede kamertje wat klein voor tieners, maar kleine kinderen...

"Very comfortable house in a lovely spot (only slight difficulty is the spiral staircase - which could be tricky for some). Especially good if you like fishing with a beautiful lake right outside the front door. Surroundings are extremely quiet and peaceful with plenty of nice walks in the area. Host’s really nice and friendly and helpful. Would certainly go back."

"This house is situated brilliantly for a rural holiday in France with great local towns, a near lake and lots of choice for restaurants within a short drive. We loved the terrace where we ate every day shaded by a glorious vine. The owners lived next door and were very helpful. Sadly when we were there they were not offering diner."

"Great location for access to Saint Mathieu and the lake. Good sized bedrooms, plenty of decent crockery, etc. No frills but adequately met our needs. As we were only a couple we were paying a premium, better value for a family. Gardens surrounded the property with plenty of choice of seating, weather permitting."
