「We all had a great time. Caught some pretty big fish, weather was hot, but not rainy. Pontoon was nice and big for everyone to come aboard. House had lots of room and with 2 kitchens the extra refrigerator was a blessing. Communication with the owners was excellent. 」

「This sweet cottage was perfect for our weekend away from everything. The house was very clean and had what we needed to prepare simple meals. It was very quiet, wuth only a few friendly neighbors occasionally driving by. Bring your binoculars! We saw deer, pheasants, racoons, coyotes, cranes, and eagles in the field across the road. Alex responded very quickly to any messages we sent to him.」

「This was a great place for two families to share a long weekend with all of our adult kids. Everyone had their own space and at the same time there were so many nice common areas to gather. 「We came for a family event in Dunn County, so the house in Menomonie was a good location. The property is lovely, with everything we needed. The table and chairs just outside the apartment were a great place to have coffee in the morning. We all enjoyed time on the deck by the river, and saw the eagle, and several other types of birds. 」

「This was an amazing house and property. The views were beautiful and the house was so spacious. Exactly what we were looking for. This was my first time using vrbo so what was posted on the website is what I expected. The only thing I was nervous about was the response time. Website stated you should get a response from the host within 48 hours but responses took days longer than that. There was always a response though and everything was fine. The people that stayed with me loved this place...

「We were here for a family wedding with various family members coming and going — some for an afternoon visit, some for overnight. Our 89-year-old matriarch even stayed for one night. It accommodated everyone’s needs nicely and was in a great location for easy access to restaurants, the movie theater and the wedding held in a nearby small town.」

The house was the perfect size to host our bridesmaids and groomsmen for the whole weekend, and we even got to invite some of our parents over to open gifts on the morning after the wedding. Evening was clean and they had some baskets in the bathrooms that had some possible forgotten essentials for everyone. 11/10 would recommend and hoping to come back in the future. We also asked some questions to the host during our stay and got almost instant...

The owner Joan lives in the next house down and is everything you’d look for in a perfect host. She went above and beyond to help us with our laundry situation. The nearby town of Downsville had 3 places to eat and Menomonie is 6 miles up the road. We’d easily do this again. 」
