Downtown Anchorage Hotel with Pool

"The Aviator was being renovated when we stayed there so the lobby was temporary and the parking situation wasn't ideal However, they should be done with renovations by summer. Loved the room -- it was well-appointed and comfortable. The fridge was super cute. The standout at this hotel, however, was the customer service. Every single staff member we talked to was very friendly and went out of their way to help us out. In particular the tall security guard (whose name I'm sorry I've forgotten) went above and beyond. Kudos to whoever is doing the hiring and training, because the staff is exceptional! Later in our visit we stayed at a different famous downtown Anchorage hotel, but we like the Aviator better even though it was much less expensive. I will be staying at the Aviator from now on when I'm in Anchorage. "

"My stay was in Anchorage Ak near airport. It was so clean and peaceful great atmosphere and breakfast clean in door pool nice gym and free parking I’ll rate my stay 5 stars 😊"

"The staff were very nice and respectful. However the hotel needs a lot of work. I appreciate that they just had replaced all of the beds so we weren't concerned with bed bugs. The room was clean but the bathroom shower head was filthy. The fan in the bathroom didn't work and made a noise when turned on. There's so much grime in the fan for it to work properly. Same goes with the air conditioning unit, it works howevever the filter was very filthy. The toilet paper holder was coming off of the wall. We stayed for two days however we didn't get any housekeeping service. We at least expected them to replace our towels but we didn't see the housekeeper. The pool smelled like drainage water. It had a sour smell to the whole room. It didn't look clean, there were no towels to dry off. The water was so cold. "

"I stayed in a Jr. suite and it is worth the money! I love the space, the view and having the wet bar. Made me wish they were back in style; so classy and convenient. Not just for cocktails but for just drinks and having a sink area for snacks. "
