「The room smelled old at first, other than that, its an older place but peaceful, no issues, safe, nect to the lake which was awesome. Staff were excellent- great hosts」

「The view and gathering area in the lobby are really nice but the motel area feels like it's very old and falling apart. The floor on the second floor feels like it's going to cave in and there are areas where you actually feel like the floor is sinking under the old, dusty, and cigarette smoke filled carpet. The outside balcony on the 2nd floor was a nice feature, but the 1st floor balcony is open and there is a door that can access the room from outside on the ground floor. If they would invest...

「Great stay. Hotel staff was very friendly. Our only complaint is the pool wasn’t up to our liking. Floors were super slippery and very limited seating.」

Due to them not having someone working in the lobby at all times, you are unable to get into the lobby without a code. We did not have that code sent automatically to us, and had to request it. 「I was there for training. Staff was very pleasant and helpful at check-in. Room was very clean. I did have a room with a balcony, there were some large spider webs on the porch that should have been removed. Food was very good. Overall, a very good experience and staff was very nice at check-out.」

「Room was clean minus the dust bunnies if you’re a hygiene freak. Bed sheets had some stains that was not pleasing. However the staff was great with our needs and breakfast was something to look forward to. Exterior wise, you have the atmosphere and presence of Andrews in which I say Is very calm and mellow. Overall a good experience. Highly recommend if you’re budgeting your pocket.」

「Great location on the lake. My husband and I kayacked, fished, brought our pup along. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. The owners were more than welcoming, anticipated our needs before we thought of them. 」

「I love this place, it was so nice, quiet and peaceful. The remodeling of the Inn was spot on it kept the charm of the original Inn and the grounds were beautiful. The innkeeper Tim was an excellent host. We even got to meet the owner. If you are looking for a romantic get away or just simple low key charm this is a gem found in a remote lovely location in North Carolina. We will defiantly be back.」
