This house was the perfect size for our group of 6 for a gals weekend! We each got our own room and the living space allows everyone to spread out but is also open concept so everyone can hang out. The outside was perfectly peaceful listening to the cicadas and watching the cows and deer roam nearby. Close to nearby wineries. Just be aware that it is a small town country vibe and some of the breweries and eateries are closed by 8p on a Friday night.

Perfect getaway from the city

We really enjoyed our stay at the Gatlin Getaway. We really enjoyed the Pool and everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful stay

What a perfect place for me and my bridesmaids to be together and get ready the morning of my wedding, and for me and my husband to stay afterwards. Beautiful property with tons of space, very clean, and all around comfortable with high end finishes!! Thank you for having us!

Birthday Getaway

Our group enjoyed the entire weekend stay! The pool and hot tub made a cool addition to our stay. The home is open and welcoming and has an amazing kitchen! We were able to schedule a private shuttle for a wine tour one day, but the rest of our stay, we just enjoyed the home!

Centrally located

Beautiful spacious newer clean home centrally located between wineries and near by restaurants/cities. We had a great time for two Bday celebrations. Plenty of spaces within a 5-10 drive and Uber picks up from there.

Great place!

We had a great time, and the house was absolutely beautiful! It accommodated our group perfectly. When we arrived the hot tub wasn’t working properly but I reached out to the management company and received an immediate response. They sent someone out the next day to fix it and there were no other issues. Loved this place and hated to leave, will definitely be back!

Great location for a Dripping Springs wedding guest or if dancing at Mercer Street Dancehall.

Lots of room to accommodate a 3 generation family. Hot tub was great, but the pool water was freezing cold. Ample towels, but could use more towel racks. Kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses and flatware, but could have more cooking utensils. My husband felt the hot water temperature could have been higher. Overall, we were very pleased and would stay again.

Girls Birthday Weekend

Gatlin Getaway is a great property! The layout of the home makes a lot of sense for families and friends. The kitchen was very well-equipped to prepare a meal, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was ready to enjoy. I did, however, ask the property manager if a 11AM checkout time would be possible. I received a reply to check back the day before our scheduled check out. When I reached back out, I never received a reply. 10AM just seems a bit early for a checkout time. Besides that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Home

This home was perfect for our trip with 2 other families. Each family was able to have their own full bath which was important to us. The home was very nice and updated. Everything was very clean. The pool and hot tub were very nice additions. Location was great if you want to explore Dripping Springs, Driftwood and Wimberley. My only complaint was we didn't realize until about 9:00 our first night that there was only a partial roll of toilet paper in one bathroom and none in the other two (not even on the holders). Fortunately we were able to go to HEB and get some. I text the afterhours number and they got back to me the next morning, telling me the cleaning crew had rolls under the sinks in the bathrooms. We had searched the entire house and all cabinets/drawers before texting the afterhours number. When I replied that there was none, there was no response. An apology for this would have been appropriate as we don't expect to have to pay for our own toilet paper. I'm sure the lack of toilet paper was an oversight but customer service should have been much better. Overall, I would recommend this rental, you just might want to bring your own tp!

This property was fantastic. The only issue we had was that there was limited space in the outside bin as the cleaning service came after the trash day so we only had 1/2 a bin available. As we didn’t want to leave trash for critters, we hauled off our remaining trash.

Family getaway

This is a beautiful home, lots of room, great location, so much potential but it was not cleaned prior to our arrival. We had to sweep floors, clean countertops and appliances in kitchen (after we had to go and buy some cleaning products) and wash sheets prior to sleeping. Very frustrating and disappointing to say the least.

The property is beautiful but there are maintenance issues that added up. The hot tub jets were completely not working only the heat in the hot tub itself. The property manager did provide a daily for the stay but we were disappointed we couldn’t use the hot tub. Toilet in master is unstable. The handle to the oven comes off completely when you open the oven. Kitchen sink faucet has the hot and cold reversed. Master bedroom door needs to be oiled (loud squeak when you open it). Grill needs tools to grill. I’d recommend mgmt to provide basic bathing products like shampoo/soap. It is a beautiful property, just the small maintenance issues that added up became annoying
