Worth to stay with Sofitel Dubai Downtown hotel ne
Having spent 9 nights in this hotel, I could say that the hotel service is excellent.  A spacious room which is clean and tidy, comfortable air-conditioning, sufficient bottled water supply, and good clean-up services. For breakfast, there are wide variety of choices. I need to thank Leo Lam in the restaurant who provided good services with smile as always. I have joined day trip local tour to Abu Dhabi with everything arranged in the lobby. Not to mention the convenient location in downtown Dubai where 2 minutes walk to metro station and connection bridge to Dubai Mall.

The suite I stayed in with my family was spacious, clean and quiet with an excellent view of downtown Dubai. The breakfast and the iftar dinner at the restaurant is delicious. This hotel is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The service is outstanding. The rooftop pool is one of the nicest ones we have ever seen at a hotel. We hope to come back for a vacation again soon.

I was in the middle of renewing my Emirates ids and because of that i only had my driver's license available as my valid form of id (my company holds our passports until the ids are issued), so they wouldn't let me check in. It ruined my entire weekend that was planned in Dubai with friends that flew all the way from the States to visit. Very disappointed that no accommodation could be made with the hotel.
