Extremely pleasant host who went out of his way to assist. Very quiet motel (I am from the bush and traffic keeps me awake, but despite our room being next to the bridge I slept really well). Located with easy access to the main roads but also to the Dubbo CBD. Thoroughly recommend Tallarook as a place to stay. Walking distance to a very good restaurant.

GOOD: Spacious family room with high ceilings Modern and updated Kitchenette air conditioner good sized fridge was great easy access to swimming pool BAD: Grumpy and unfriendly old man told me off because my daughter parked her car on-site as well (she was staying with us too) That man has NO people skills. Car park tight and limited Bathroom is too small OVERALL VERY GOOD, but will not stay there again because of grumpy old man.

Thank you for your feedback.We send clear message prior to arrival that parking is limited to 1 vehicle per room, it is also printed on the envelope you received for your after hours check in (which you admitted to reading) and a text message was sent to you during your stay. All 3 requests were ignored. We had other guests that arrived with 2 vehicles and were fully understanding that we need to ensure parking is available for each room. Being school holidays and a long weekend we were fully booked so other guests had to find somewhere else to park. We let it go for 2 nights but it wasn't very fair for other guests. Unfortunately as managers we often get called grumpy for enforcing the rules when people blatantly ignore them.

The room was clean and had everything you could need for a couple nights or even a couple of weeks. pleasant staff and just a short walk to the shops. the zoo is only a few kilometers away, just a nice place to be.

The personal were delightful & very helpful. Everything was clean & tidy. Such a lovely quiet place on the river bank, could go for a relaxing & invigorating morning walk. Two things kitchen cupboards were a little tired but very functional & the parking a little tight. I would definitely stay again.

The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. The Management and staff were very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The other patrons were respectful of the 9pm noise curfew. Will certainly use again and heartily recommend the Tallarook Motor Inn.

The property was very clean, car park nicely positioned, laundry facilities were good & clean. The pool was excellent. Staff members were welcoming and very helpful & friendly However there is lots of noise from the nearby main rd, rooms on the main rd side may need sound proofing

Excellent value for money. Our family appreciated the full kitchen (full size oven stove AND a full size fridge freezer, as well as the usual microwave, kettle and toaster). Would definitely stay again.

Dubbo motel
This motel is love with big rooms and microwave sink, full fridge etc which is great when travelling. The only negative is that the shower smells of mould until after taking a shower. Bathrooms could do with a fix up. But rest of room is lovely, comfy beds and lots of space. Managers are lovely. Second time Ive stayed here. They recommended a local take away to get dinner at too.
