Modest but well stocked with everything you will need and in a great location to get a real feel for the city. 5 stars and highly recommended for your Oakland Experience! Walking distance from pretty much anything you will need and not too far from the ferry landing if you want to bump over to SF for the day. "My husband and I were joined by our adult children in this wonderful house. It is classically just a beautiful place. We were in a perfect location to walk and enjoy our surroundings. The rooms themselves were lovely. We highly reommend."

"The house is perfect for what advertisers to be. It is a good basic apartment with all the necessary appliances. Two things for a guest to be aware of. There is very limited cookware. If you like to cook you could find yourself short some necessary pieces. Also the shower has a very slippery floor - be careful. But overall I was very happy with the accommodation."

"I really liked the space in the house. The host was very responsive and helpful. When I asked for an additional fan, I received one promptly. The location was very convenient for us since we drove back and forth to Stanford Hospital. It was only 2 miles away. However, I felt uncomfortable to see little roaches and the floor was not clean."

The only issue I have is the location is not the safest. Be prepared to be very diligent about not leaving anything in your car and making sure the car is locked up tight."
