"Everything was great aside from none of the rooms having air conditioning. I wasn't too comfortable leaving my windows open all night, but not a deal breaker. I'd definitely go back."

"The staff were very helpful and quick to clean the property/empty rooms. They readily asked us whether we wanted fresh towels. The room (#16) was beautiful and had a good mini fridge and shower. My partner and I only have complaints about the beds and walls. The beds are very soft, so not great for firm sleepers. Also, they appear older based on the significant slumps in the middle of each bed. Also, the walls are thinner so bring earplugs to avoid dealing with noisy neighbors."

"What a great stay. The rooms were super clean. No chemical smell that tries and mask that it's not clean. Beds were amazing and comfortable. Staff were so friendly and helpful. And the river that runs thru the property was a great treat. I would absolutely stay at the Longhorn again. "

"For our first night there was a gentleman that did not check. When we arrived at our room it was occupied. The man said that he had booked through Friday which was a lie. I contacted the front desk and they made arrangements to put us into a cabin for the night. On Saturday night when we arrived the doors and windows to our assigned room were open. So once again I contacted the front desk. The informed me they would be putting us up in a different room because the gentleman from the night before had been chain smoking cigars and they felt it would not right to give use that room. Once we got checked into the room it was nice and cozy. When I got up and showered the next morning I quickly learned there were no bath towels in the room. I made due with a hand towel though."

"The cabin has a beautiful setting. Wish we had more time to stay there. The weather was hot but the cabin was comfortable. We were pleased overall, and it worked for 4 adults and two small kids and two dogs. Would have liked a phone call rather than texting."

"This was our third family visit to the lake cabin. We stayed for nine days. Our previous visits were each a week long. And each time we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The private, quiet location, the tranquil lake, the spacious view, the floating deck, the kayaks and beach, the inviting screened porch, the rustic and comfy interior - all the amenities for an ideal home in the woods. Jerry is a welcoming, responsive, and respectful host. Thank you Jerry for your care of this home away from home. We hope to return!"

"Our stay was very comfortable and Charne was quick to respond to any questions or needs that we had. Our group was very comfortable in the space, and the accommodations were very sufficient for the price we paid. The outdoor area was our favorite part of the house. A nice seating area with a fire pit and a beautiful view!"
