Perfect for our stay!

This was our second trip to Duck, and our second in Sanderling and this property did not disappoint! Plenty of room for two families without being crowded, and close proximity to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Another wonderful trip

Henry and Jane's home is a wonderful place to stay! We love the location to the beach, the well-stocked kitchen, and the spacious sleeping accommodations. This is truly one of our favorite vacations of all time!

Fall Retreat

Our family stayed here and we had a wonderful experience. The house met all our expectations -- exceptionally clean and comfortable. The owner was great to work with and provided a great list of suggestions for things to see and do. We highly recommend this vacation rental.

Great Get away

The house is clean, well stocked and quite and only a short walk to the beach. Duck is a nice town, the beach is wonderful. We cannot wait to go back.

Our favorite home in Sanderling

Our family love this this house and are repeat renters. Short walk to the beach pond and sound. Also the kitchen is well equipped and makes cooking very easy. We can’t wait to go back !

We LOVED it!

This house was perfect in every way, we loved the neighborhood, the house was beautiful, clean and spacious. It was an easy walk to the beach and also close to shops in Duck but the house itself is nestled within beautiful trees so it feels private. We wanted to stay longer! Highly recommend staying here!

Duck Fore Ever

We booked the home for a family trip that included 2 small children and 5 adults. The property was very much as described. Wonderful home very near the beach in a quiet area that really could make you forget just how close you were to the busier tourist area and all the amenities that go with it. The hosts were great! Provided an interesting history of the area along many tips on places to eat and things to do that truly helped us make the most of our stay.

A perfect beach house

My daughter summarized it well: “These owners really understand what people want in a beach house and deliver it beautifully.” The setting, the amenities, the rooms set-up, furniture, linens, even the neighbors were all wonderful, making even a somewhat rainy week at the beach great.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our week at Duck Forever. The house was very comfortable and cozy, with all of the necessary amenities. The kids loved staying and playing in the bunk room. We made fantastic dinners in the large kitchen. The house is just a quick walk to the beach - where we spent most of our time. Would recommend to others.

Relaxing and Special!

Many thanks for an incredible stay in the OBX! The home was beautiful. It was perfect for three couples and our 12 month old. We had a relaxing time and thoroughly enjoyed the beach -- in early May, we had pretty much the whole beach to ourselves. The neighborhood is gorgeous and perfect for walks or runs. We loved everything about the home and our time. We can't wait to be back again! Thank you!

Perfect family beach house

This beach house was fantastic! It was spacious, beautiful, and well-equipped, just as the description listed. We had an awesome week and especially loved the location and short walk to the private beach access. We will be back! Bachelorette trip

We had a wonderful stay. The home was beautiful and spotless. Henry is extremely organized and very quick at responding to our questions. He provided us with an email that was filled with important information on check in and check out, restaurant information and places to visit. I would definitely visit Duck again and stay in this beautiful home.

The ‘Beach Girls’

ER Nurses with a very special bond. Our friendship has been celebrated with an annual trip to the Outer Banks. We felt very much at home in this beautiful cottage….we wanted for nothing. Wine, dinners, memories…..a very special trip….made even better with the hospitality of the owner.

A happy, modern home!!

Our family of four loved the house! There were so many well-lit spaces to read, relax and play. The house was immaculate on arrival and it is well-suited for larger families. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and most importantly not having to frantically search for a house key in the sand. Great place to stay while enjoying the beach and pool!

Excellent Experience

Went for our annual girl’s road trip, and couldn’t have been more impressed with the cleanliness, decor, and location. This beautiful house made us feel welcome and comfortable, and had all of the necessary attributes to make for a wonderful experience. Henry was accessible and responsive, and we look forward to our next visit to Duck Forever on our next visit to The Outer Banks.

Large, comfortable home with great location!

Our family visited the Outer Banks for a family wedding. The home was in a very quiet neighborhood, and extremely easy beach access. The home was exactly as pictured … clean, spacious, enough room for us and our grown children and spouses! Would definitely recommend! My only suggestion is to add a Keurig.

The house was in great shape, the rooms were very comfortable and big enough for all we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and having great weather was a plus. Everything was in good working order and it was well stocked. The house was extremely clean. We would definitely go back again.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

We could not have asked for a better home base for our OBX vacation! The house was immaculate and beautifully furnished, in addition to being thoughtfully well-stocked. The kids loved the bunk room and the beach toys, and we all appreciated the easy walk to the beach and the nature trails within the resort. We had one minor issue during our stay, but Henry was very responsive and had the problem fixed the next day. Thank you for hosting us - we look forward to a return visit!
