"Amazing house for a short weekend away with friends. We came for Easter weekend with a large group of 19 people. We ordered pizzas from the local pizza restaurant under David’s recommendation which made cooking easier and were great pizzas that arrived nice and hot. We did spot a mouse in one of the rooms however but as people who live in the rural countryside ourselves, it’s expected in these types of properties. "Located on the edge of a tiny rural Devon village, this property was the perfect getaway for us and our dog. The village pub is great (although you have to be up for the walk up the steep road to get there), and the property hosts were there if you needed them, totally non-invasive if you didn’t. "Farm is quite remote but beautifully situated 1200 feet above the Bristol Channel. Very roomy and charming. Very comfortable facilities and lovely, helpful hosts. Fresh eggs for breakfast from the friendly chickens! A bench overlooking the sea for our happy hour, wonderful walks to interesting and ancient places. Lots of wildlife - deer, pheasant, grouse, wild ponies up on the nearby moor. We'd love to return."

"Second stay at sunset cabins, great value for money and very convenient. Loved watching the horses in the nearby field. Very relaxing place! "Really happy with our stay in the Ground Floor Flat. Layout gives space and privacy for an extended family, especially when connected to adjoining room. Very happy with the price paid on a 'cost per person' basis. Everything seemed newly refurbished and, while fittings were not luxury, everything was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and location was very convenient for what we needed - ideally between the railway station and cricket ground - albeit not the most picturesque part of the town."
