“David and Ellis are consummate hosts and this enchanting cottage was well-equipped with anything and everything one might need during a stay here. The home is exactly as described, full of character, charm and history, yet containing the modern conveniences that ensure one’s comfort. (Fantastic shower pressure and temps and consistent wifi!) a big plus: an accessible ground floor bedroom with accessible shower room. (Note, there is one step to enter the home). The horses, dogs, and the bunnies……

“It's a nice little cottage and host/property manager were quite nice as well. We were there 5 days, and enjoyed our stay there a lot. It's a bit far from the sights and from a grocery store (minimum 30 min. drive, IIRC) so plan for that. Also, no wi-fi that we were able to figure out (we just watched stuff we had already downloaded, using an HDMI cable), but there was a television and laundry facilities, so that was great.”

The house has everything you will need for a lively stay including a lovely welcome pack which is appriecated at a long journey. “A quirky and eclectic house, not the for tall of stature. It's a traditional style of Irish country cottage set in a gorgeous Limerick valley. If you like country living and a break from the mundane, this is a good choice. Watch out for the oil heating bill at the end though.”

“A delightful step back in time while having all the modern conveniences. Cottage was renovated beautifully with every attention to detail and in keeping with its old world charm. Sonia, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to really enjoy the cottage in the evenings around the fire.
