"Second night of my stay I had a knock on my door at 4am stating that I texted this person to come over. My daughter and I had NO knowledge of who this person was. I called the front desk several times and did not get and answer. I called IGH that night and several times while I was in Tampa and all that’s happening is I’m getting the run around. I was told I would get a call from the hotel manager and an email from holiday inn explaining what happened and I yet to receive anything from anyone. The big lady that came barging in should have never been able to come to my room. You need a key fob to get into the hotel lobby and she was let in by the front door staff. What business does anyone have at 4am other than a “working girl”! This should have never happened and we are furious! Even more furious because holiday inn will not do anything about it. They claim it was both parties fault that this happened. How could it be my fault when we were both sleeping and I had no idea who this person was. Even if I did that means I would have gone to the lobby and let this person in the hotel which never happened. I think what would have happened if my daughter answered the door instead of me! Don’t let this happen to you or your family! I would not stay there or at any other Holiday Inn because if something like this should happen to you they would not take any responsibility! STAY AWAY FROM HOLIDAY INNS OR EXPRESS! THEY ARE HERE JUST FOR YOUR MONEY NOT FOR YOUR SAFETY! THEY SUCK!!!"

"I like the The Staybridge because it's so convenient to all parts of St. Petersburg. It's not far from the downtown section; and you can get to other parts of the city from the nearby and very long Martin Luther King Jr. Street. The breakfast at The Staybridge is GREAT: lots of good food and coffee!"

"The air conditioning was blowing, and it felt amazing in the hot weather! I think parking was safe,and we had no problems at all. When it comes to the room everything was clean for the most part .We love both hotels so much we wont stay anywhere else, and the staff give the best service through and through!!!"

"Clean, affordable and in a great area. They’re upfront with the noise from the bars/club. But if you’re a night owl like me or plan to stay up late enjoying the bars downstairs you’ll never notice it. They went dead quite right before 3am. In fact it alerted me one night it was now 3am and I should probably go to bed. I don’t know when I’ll ever be in St. Pete again but would definitely stay here again."
