「Onsite parking and ramp to accommodation was idea for my elderly father that used a walker. The local shops were 1 min around the corner, with a well stocked IGA, a fabulous coffee shop attached to a very popular cafe/restaurant. Coffee was excellent and the staff were exceptionally nice. Only a very short walk down the hill to the esplanade around the bay, and then easy access to a beautiful sandy beach that provided a fabulous early morning or evening walk around the waterfront. 「Great place to stay when in Coles Bay. Close to all the sites and has all that you need for a great vacation. House nice and clean and WIFI is great as mobile reception in area is patchy.」

「A nice quiet lodging amidst the nature. However, it took us sometime to locate the lodging as our GPS took us to the wrong way. Nevertheless I managed to contact the owner and was able to reach the lodging before it got dark. The lodging was clean and comfortable and the two toilets and the jacuzzi made the stay even more memorable and comfortable.」

「I loved the fact that the property had so much kitchen utensils, pots, pans, rice cooker ect. Very different to the 3 useless pans at other accomodations I’ve stayed at in the past. Loved the privacy of the property. The quietness and the views! Only downside was the second room didn’t have bedding only a blanket on top. But other than that would definitely recommend and book here again. 」

「House was good. Letting agency came across poorly. Request for slightly late checkout was rejected out of hand - they said the house was let that same night and they needed to clean, but online booking showed house was NOT rented and Coles Bay was dead as a doornail while we were ther with most houses dark at night so the cleaning staff were certainly not busy. If you Google them you will find they refused refunds during COVID.」

「Escape to the Sea Shack is a lovely, comfortable, well-equipped home in a great location for exploring the spectacular NE Coast of Tasmania, including the Bay of Fires, Binalong Bay and St Helens. In addition to having a well equipped kitchen and barbecue area, it has hotel quality linen and bath towels and complimentary toiletries.The outside boasts a huge deck and secure garden, making it perfect for you and your pooch to enjoy - and there are water views!All in all this is a great find....

「Location magic. Accomodation out of this world. I would like to however point out that there was limited fire wood in house and none in wood box out back. We did find it the next morning under the house but as we got there at 4.30 freezing cold it was just a bit disappointing. Other than that it was a great stay. Thank you」

「This place is awesome! Mountain view is great. Nice neighbourhood. There is space to park your car. We have the whole house and we enjoyed family gathering there. They provide Bose speaker with lots of CD to play different type of music. Living room is comfortable. If I have a chance, I will come back to stay at this place again. 」

"The seaview room is beautiful. All the rooms were bright and warm during winter time. We enjoyed our stay. The owner gave us all the information around the town and useful maps for visiting the national park while check-in. A very thoughtful gentleman."

"Great location, very near to the restaurants, balcony overlooking the beach. Most importantly the manager was the most caring and helpful hotel manager we have encountered in our many years of traveling. Because our own mistake, our itinerary was off by one day, which affected our hotel arrangements. She was very understanding and graciously offered accommodation, and even helped to contact the next hotel in our itinerary for new arrangement. Before getting off duty, she came to our room to ensure we were fine with everything. "
