Great home and location!

Loved our stay. Great location and new home. Assumed three bedrooms, but has two bed rooms with sofa bed in living area. Very close to bay and walking path. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful! Hope to return next year !

This is a lovely rental that sits a bit above Great Pond in East Falmouth. It is spacious, well-equipped and just a walk from the ocean. We found it to be clean and perfect for a girl’s getaway. There were plenty of towels and superb showers. A truly delightful find!

We loved our stay here! Clean, beautiful surroundings and close to beach! Water views of the Bay are amazing! Kitchen has everything! Bed was very comfortable for us! Very close to shopping and great restaurants. I rented a bike and rode everywhere!

House was great. No issues. One away from Great Neck Pond which made for a beautiful sunrise every morning. Two full baths which is convenient. Plenty of towels. Everything there for you - kitchen utensils, dish and dishwasher soap, extra trash bags, it was amazing. So nice to have a washer dryer. Central AC was great. Awesome location, close to town and nice to walk or run down Maravista Ave to the Sound. Would definitely recommend the property!

Perfect vacation spot!

We went here for our annual family vacation and loved it! The pictures of the property don’t do it justice, the views are incredible, and the place is huge! The house was immaculate, and the property was well maintained. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and there were shoreline trails that were great for strolling. It was only 5 minutes from the Island Queen ferry, but if we go again I think we’d just skip the vineyard day and hang out at the house (Martha’s Vineyard was so hectic and dirty, you couldn’t pay me to go back again). If you’re looking for a classic coastal New England vacation, stay at this house and explore areas like Woods Hole, downtown Falmouth, and Heritage Museum & Gardens.

Nice location

The house was very clean and smelled good when we checked in. The living room furniture was not comfortable and had some stuffing coming out of the cushion and the piping was coming off. I had difficulty making the reservation and Vacasa was not helpful. They were suppose to let us know when we could check in but we never heard from them. I don't think I would ever rent a place that has Vacasa as the property manager again.

Great resting spot

Very clean and updated property! Conveniently located near the water. Comfortable place for us to rest and give my daughter/husband their space. Recommend this place and look forward to hopefully staying again. My only suggestion is to add dimmable lighting. We felt on stage in the living/kitchen area, bedroom. It would be nice to turn down bathroom light during the night.

Spotless Falmouth house close to water

This was a great place to stay. Negatives were only that we were unable to check in on time because cleaning crew was still there when we arrived, and Vacasa was stingy with trash bags. Local manager was good and responsive. Location was a bit far from town to walk but easily bikeable. Lovely path to walk about 1 mile to beach along water, with boats and birds to watch on the way.

The cleaners/management company locally did an awful job before we got there. Owners need to replace some broken furniture and household items as well as the torn shower curtain and torn sofa bed!

Good location, but much room for improvement

We left a day early due to the furniture in the bedrooms.I don’t see how this place could comfortably accommodate 6 guests. My wife and I are regular sized people. The beds simply are uncomfortable and neither bed is large enough.We slept so poorly, I slept in the adjacent room and we drove home the next day.This will be the last time we stay at a place that has a professional third party “property manager” responsible for the care of an owner’s short term rental property.This was the only complaint we had, but when you don’t sleep well at all, it is the most fundamental thing that matters when it comes to enjoying your time. Everything else about our stay was great.Informational item: the bathroom door and the second bedroom door are not closing. There are large cracks going uo the drywall suggesting there is something making the frame out of square for the door. This is something the owner would surely want to know about as it has potential to cause a lot of damage the longer it goes unaddressed.

Nice house, could use better furnishings

This is a recently-built house with excellent location in Falmouth. It has a nice view of Great Pond and is adjacent to a very pleasant 1 mile walk to the ocean along the pond. Comfortable for 4 people -- the second full bath is convenient. The kitchen has what you need with modern appliances. I'm giving the house only 4 stars because the owners need to furnish the property better than a cheaper airbnb. Beds are low budget, and most of the furnishings come from Walmart, IKEA or a yard sale. When you have a nice house, furnish it like a nice house.
