So, some people say “ you get what you pay for “ and you do. This facility, while being extremely affordable for 2 nights , was much cleaner than some places we’ve paid more for. Now, the downside is that breakfast is *not* included as stated on website just a coffee station in office… would have been nice to have a coffee maker in room, but there are so many nearby options. The owners are **extremely** kind and wanted to please us during our short stay. Don’t pass this place up if you’re just looking for a place to rest your head.

We were looking for a last-minute room because bad weather was disrupting our camping trip. This place was extremely reasonably-priced and in the heart of lots of Poconos activities. The room was spotless and very comfortable; we were even given a free upgrade by the friendly owners. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was ok. The staff members were very friendly. Note that the hotel doesn’t serve breakfast even though it’s advertised on Expedia. Don’t spend extra money in upgrading your room to get breakfast. Expedia has been falsely advertising this for years and will not refund your money.

We were in the area to day hike on the Appalachian trail. We chose the Value Inn because of the outdoor pool ( 95 degree temperatures) The bed was comfortable , air conditioning was appreciated, as was the hot water in the shower. There were no toiletries in the bathroom as stated in the website ad with the exception of a very thin bar of soap. Fortunately we brought our own. The coffee in the office was appreciated.
