Access was easy and the owner was very accommodating. breakfast food provided in the room, which was a nice touch. 10 minute walk into town down a steep hill but there were also a couple nice restaurants very close and the AT conservancy office is right across the street. 」

「Had a great stay- very thorough check-in and instructions, yurt was super cool. To be out in the country and still have wi-fi and a shower was right up my alley. Fridge, appliances, and peace and quiet. Owner was very responsive and friendly as well. Loved it! 」

「We stayed here for a family vacation. The house is spacious and well stocked. Some of the young adults enjoyed climbing around the waterfalls. We took a day trip to Black Water Falls state park. It was worth the trip. We went into Moorefield a couple of times. We highly recommend Genaro’s for their pizza (their Brooklyn pizza was fantastic) and Sweets and Treats for their ice cream. Would stay here again!」

「It was such a lovely space! The views in the morning were phenomenal and the space itself was large and comfortable. The ceiling fans were a godsend after walking back from a day on the trails. We are already planning to come back :]」

「Convenient location in Winchester though the property made it feel like you are in the country. Check in time must be precise as the owner needs to explain a couple things and let you in. This was good as my husband had a couple questions. Toaster oven was missing its tray so it was not easy to use the appliance. Coffee maker and refrigerator work great, bathroom facilities work. The house is in great condition and a neat place to stay.」
