“We normally travel in a motorhome and don't stay in hotels much. But we had a short trip, so decided to stay at Spark by Hilton in Winchester, VA. We had stayed there before. The room was very nice but was surprised by the lack of a electrical outlet next to the bathroom sink for an electric toothbrush, etc. I really liked that the front desk texted me to see how our stay was going (nice touch). The first night, there was a loud, continuous commotion in our hallway and the room next door. ……

“The restroom is very cramped. The facilities are old and broken. The room has a bad smell.”

“First room offered had powerful odours (pets?) and not acceptable. Alternative room was fine although all odd numbered rooms suffer road noise in morning rushour. Breakfast very nice for level of hotel.”

“The hotel has a great setting for a traveler with a pet. There is a lawn in front and behind the building to walk a dog. Everything else is just awful. A toilet bowl with rusted spots, a dump floor, barely working wi-fi, broken safe, broken locks at the entries of the building… whoa, it is a shame to run such a poorly maintained facility for &100 +l”

“Front desk staff was friendly, interior of property was clean and the cleaning staff was very nice. Location was fantastic!!”
