Great communication, lovely flat and the location is perfection. We loved our stay and look forward to staying there again soon. Thank you Gordon for everything! You are a gem.
We had a wonderful Easter break staying in this super apartment. We were greeted personally on arrival and were delighted to find that the accommodation catered for our needs perfectly. A rare find both in terms of quality and location and we cant wait to return!
Cozy well equipped apartment that felt just like home
Communications with Andrew prior to our arrival were first class. We had a friendly welcome to the property by Gordon who showed us around the apartment.
The apartment was cozy and very clean. I don’t think I have stayed at a better equipped rental property.
The property is located 2 minutes from North Berwick GC and is at the end of the town’s delightful high street.
If you are coming to North Berwick this is the place to stay!
Fraser's Marine Lodge was the perfect place to stay for our short visit to North Berwick. The home itself is spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and included everything we needed for our stay. It is just steps from the beach, the golf course, and all the great restaurants and shops of High Street. Add to that the great views of the sea out the front windows, and there is nothing left to be desired.Andrew was a perfect host, and he took the time before and during our stay to make sure everything was perfect for us. It was. We also appreciated the personal "meet and greet" from his colleague, Gordon. We would love to visit North Berwick again soon, and hope that Fraser's Marine Lodge can be our home-away-from-home once more.
What a lovely house in a great location. Fixtures and fittings all high quality. Beds very comfortable and a very well equipped kitchen. It is a short walk from the beach and the high street with independent shops and restaurants.Andrew, the owner, is the most effective communicator we have had the pleasure to encounter. Also, his local manager and cleaning staff exceed expectations. They all did everything they could to make our 4 night stay a pleasure, including a day of red wind wandering. A lovely place to be in a ‘lockdown’.We would certainly recommend Fraser’s Marine Lodge.
To say this was a fantastic, magical trip really doesn't do it justice. Andrew and Gordon, our hosts- were impeccable, helpful, professional and friendly. North Berwick is a history lovers paradise. The trains are easy to use and 5 min away from the property. The 'manor' is huge, spotless, has everything you could possibly need to cook, chill, watch a flick, or just have a cup of tea and read. We will be back! 10 out of 10
Wonderful stay. Lovely property. Met on arrival and given all the information we needed. Would not hesitate to recommend it.

Great, well appointed, unbeatable location.
Very well appointed, renovated and clean accommodation. Tremendous location, steps to pubs, restaurants, beach and golf course. Nice touches like the wood burning enclosed fire, and "wet" room with great shower. All you need right here for an enjoyable stay in NB, rain or shine and I should know - I grew up there.

Apartment was great, very spacious and well equipd
We had a lovely holiday at Marine Lodge, ideal accommodation for a family of 4
Very well equipped, spacious with pleasant decor well maintained.
We were greeted by Gordon who showed us round and provided us with helpful overview of how everything worked
He also provided us with a welcome pack of all the basics bread and milk so we did not need to shop on our first evening - the blazing fire in the stove was a lovely ensured we felt at home straight away.
We had a fab time already planning our return trip
Wonderful central location within steps of beaches restaurants and grocery stores (golf too but not why we were there). Great walks along several holes on 2 different coursesThe house is a charming combination of coastal and traditional Scottish decor. It’s everything you need with all modern conveniences (washer dryer dishwasher large refrigerator with an ice maker and Netflix with TVS in every room including the kitchen!). If you are lucky with the weather which we were there is a lovely private back garden with a table and chairs to sit out and enjoy the sun. Some thoughtful gifts in the kitchen upon arrival. Andrew gave us many great restaurant recommendations we only tried 3 but each one was perfect. Gordon who is the local contact met us on check in and replied to our text quickly with a few questions we had. Highly recommended!

Really nice accommodation, much larger than expected and in a great location.
The large lounge is very comfortable with a wood burner, making for cosy evenings. Kitchen again large with every conceivable aid - great table, chat, meal evenings. Two bathrooms, one is a very modern wet room, and 2 bedrooms with high quality bedding.
Overall - a lovely clean, spacious, well appointed & fresh apartment.
Andrew (the owner) could not have been more helpful, a really genuine man, eager to assist us in every way.
GREAT!

Weekend trip review North Berwick
Booked above apartment for two nights together with relatives and my family. We absolutely loved apartment from the moment we walked in; everything was there. It was a very relaxing place. Apartment was clean, welcoming, a place you would want to spend time in. The shops, resturants and beach are close by. North Berwick is a lovely town to spend time in.
Our relatives were also equally pleased with the apartment. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone else. If I go back to North Berwick again, which I hope I will; I hope to be able to book this apartment.

Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay
Very convenient for North Berwick shops, beaches and train to Edinburgh. Good views, parking, very clean, comfortable and relaxing. Thanks to Gordon for welcoming us and to Andrew for being so helpful with recommendations etc., and thoughtful - loved the daffodils and the shortbread. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family or friends. Lots of good walking locally, both short and long. Dirleton and Tantallon Castle very interesting and Scottish Seabird Centre also worth a visit. Tour of Royal Yacht Brittania in Edinburgh (Leith) was very good, including delicious tea and scones. Would also recommend a visit to see The Kelpies and Falkirk wheel (about 1h 20 min drive).

Amazing Apartment in the Biarritz of the North!
We have just returned from a great 3 night stay in Marine Lodge.
Welcomed on Friday night by Gordon who had switched the central heating on so the apartment was cosy for us. We were given all the information we needed and a lovely welcome food pack.
Superb hospitality.
The apartment is beautiful and very well appointed.
Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated reflecting the seaside and golfing town it is situated in.
Perfect location for exploring all North Berwick has to offer.
The booking process communication was excellent from Andrew and we would have no hesitation in booking again.
We hope to return again soon.

Great golfing trip
We were two couples from the US on a golfing trip. Marine Lodge was the perfect place to base ourselves for the second part of our trip. It has a well appointed kitchen where we would eat breakfast each day and would have been a great place to cook evening meals if there weren't so many good restaurants within walking distance.
The train station is a five minute walk up the hill and the train ride to Edinburgh is about 30 minutes. We went to Edinburgh for lunch and an afternoon of sightseeing and were back with plenty of time for a rest and time to go out for dinner.
The apartment was very clean throughout, the beds very comfortable and we were met and shown the workings of the place when we arrived.
We were all very happy with our stay an hope visit again.

Perfect,whatever the weather.
This was our second visit to Marine Lodge and hopefully, not our last! Our first visit was during the winter and we were so cosy in the apartment, this time we enjoyed sunny days and were able to make full use of the garden and sun porch. Luckily, we had one or two chilly evenings, so we allowed ourselves to light the log burner!! Once again, we found the apartment to be clean, comfortable and perfectly suited to our needs. Golf, the beach, and several restaurants were enjoyed all the better for being just minutes away. Gordon was on hand to welcome us again and when we had a plumbing problem, this was dealt with swiftly and with good humour! Can't wait to return!

Best holiday ever!!
My family and I have been holidaying in North Berwick for a number of years and I can definitely say that the 2 weeks we spent in Marine Lodge have been the best so far.
The apartment was spotless, spacious, ideally located for all local amenities and only a 2 minute stroll from the beach and putting green.
Upon our arrival we were met by Gordon who showed us all around the apartment and provided us with information for all the local attractions.
The patio area with its sun lounge was an absolute sun trap, great for just sitting and reading if so desired and the apartment being so spacious meant that we were not bumping into each other and had plenty of room for relaxing.
I would definitely make this our first option for holiday rental in North Berwick everytime.

Comfortable accommodation in a great location
My wife and I stayed for a long weekend along with her parents. Both bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable super-king beds. Although bathrooms are not en suite to the bedrooms, they are close by and with there being two we had "one each". The couches in the lounge are all comfortable enough to sit around for several hours if the weather is not at its best, as was the case for our stay. Central heating performs very well making the house cosy, but putting the woodburning stove on creates a good atmosphere. We only ate in for breakfast - there are plenty places to eat out within a few minutes walk - so the kitchen didn't get a full test, but it did what we needed it to do. Would happily book again if visiting North Berwick.
