You`ll be spoilt for choice for restaurants and bars in this area. For something a little quieter, perhaps the Cambridge or Oxford bars on Young street or Fishers in the City on Thistle Street.

If you`re looking for something really Scottish, why not pay a visit to the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, just around the corner at 28 Queen Street.

It won`t take you long to work out why its called North Castle Street.... just look up and you will see.. Also worth a visit.

Edinburgh Waverley is a 15min walk. If your coming in from the airport, the closest tram stop on Princess street is 7mins walk away.

Edinburgh bus station is also close by with a 10 min walk.

Edinburgh is well serviced by buses.
